Fleetwood Town
Will it be a Good Friday for Barrow? Barrow's resurrection under Whing has been amazing but we have failed to win ANY of our local derbies away since our return to the FL. Yes if Carlisle is a derby then Fleetwood must be. A big following from Barrow and hope our fans go Wild with hopefully a win against our old boss.

Re: Fleetwood Town
If you’ve got five minutes spare take a look at Pete Wild’s interview with Fleetwood TV regarding the forthcoming game on Friday. It’s free to view and you can access it via the Fleetwood official website.
A lot of quite deep questions asked about his time at Barrow. If you are a wannabe psychologist, some of his answers are quite interesting. Pete was always an honest guy and even when he tries to deflect an answer you get little echoes of the truth that lies beneath. Good watch.

Mmm, that is an interesting interview. You can feel that it hurts him a bit.
Don't let the old man in.

Re: Fleetwood Town
Wow. Evidently some pain there . Wish him well but I hope he’s still feeling it at 5pm on Friday.

Yes - the words 'the owners and the Director of Football' were interesting, coupled with his facial expression!MisterPleasant wrote: ↑Wed Apr 16, 2025 11:40 am Mmm, that is an interesting interview. You can feel that it hurts him a bit.

Re: Fleetwood Town
He didn’t allude to anything we didn’t know . We will never know the nuts and bolts of the reasons he left due to the NDA agreed by both sides. His comment regarding him knowing 85% of the players because he brought them in isn't quite correct. Only 3 players he brought in started against Walsall and only 5 of the squad of 17 were players he brought in.

Re: Fleetwood Town
PW Very respectful towards Barrow- fair play to him no matter what went on. He's moved on and so have we
Re: Fleetwood Town
Bit disappointed he didn't say " bumps in the road " but at least he got " best version of ourselves" in there.
