Swap Newbs out for Barky and Mahoney for Hemmings and I think we'll do okay. Got a bit of strength in depth now. Positive signs I think

Given some better service I think he will score his fair share as the season progresses. Hopefully when match fit Hemmings will also link up with him at home especially.

I sincerely hope you're right Mark personally think he needs to score early on in the season because he didn't look confident when he had that chance.

I thought during the first half, given our lack of possession, that it had 1-0 written all over it. If Chesterfield are truly one of the favourites then we can't be too disappointed. Biggest plus for me was Harper, who was excellent at both ends of the pitch.

This is the biggest takeaway from this game for me. Just watched the highlights and both teams will have plenty more to come but there was little in it. Different styles of football, so they will look at the possession stats but the actual shots and chances in the game fell pretty even.

The goal was a shocker though, a free header and we will need to cut that out.

I didn't realise age was so important as opposed to pace or skill. Fortunately we've got 21 year old Katia Kouyate so we'll be fine.
