If Quigley is match fit and available at low risk then he could be worth a punt. We need options. We don’t have that sort of player in the squad and haven’t since he left. He can manage centre half’s and the big games and was a popular player here. If anything it would give us a boost.

Scott Quigley is in America & has packed in football. He’s in partnership with his other half who is a top real estate seller in Seattle and now having a child .. I don’t think he is going to be back at Holker St anytime soon…

Being a realist is not always preferable but no doubt you though the Titanic was unsinkable.
We all noticed during the friendlies we struggled to score against league clubs buoyed by the defeat the European Champions HOB.

Bingo.......You need to get real. We have a bottom half budget in League 2 the manager is only being realistic. To think we can compete with the likes of Chesterfield and MK Dons over a season is for the birds. We are a mid to low table league 2 team who aspires to go higher but without massive invstment that aint going to happen. No good setting aspirations high and talk like that only to fall flat on your face you ned to keep it real and that exactly what the manager is doing.

Personally I took the managers views as being realistic not at all negative. Unfortunately the expectations of some supporters are not realistic given our finances and infrastructure.

I think the manager struck a perfectly reasonable balance in his interview, optimistic but tempered by reality. Some people on here seem to think we'd be in the Premier League if only we believed more.
