In addition to a new player we have a new trivia question. Name the football player who has played for two EFL clubs with the same nickname?

Re Rhys Healey

“There is no doubting Rhys’ ability when fully match fit, but to reach that level of fitness again he will require a consistent exposure to competitive minutes that he’s unlikely to gain with our strength in depth across the frontline,” Town boss Lee Grant told his club’s website.

“Unfortunately for Rhys he was unable to get the same level of work in as most of the group across pre-season due to his ongoing rehabilitation, and we haven’t been able to factor him into our plans as a result.

“Both as a person and player, having a period out on loan to play regularly and get a feel of the game again is exactly what Rhys needs. A challenge he was keen to take on, we’ll be keeping a close eye on how he gets on with his new side and wish him the best of luck for the season ahead.”

He's injury prone!

Just took a look at his stats. Usually plays 14-20 games a season and his goal scoring tally isn't that impressive, either.
Just what we need - a player who will be receiving his wages whilst sat on the bench recovering from injuries.
It does make you wonder who is responsible for signing these type of players?

100 goals in 254 games aint to shabby IMO. Yes he has had his injuries but given our financial position it's a six month loan worth doing helping both him and his parent club whilst he hopefully helps us during his stay. Would you sooner we took a totally inexperienced academy striker and threw him into battle in league 2?

I'd rather we sign a striker who's match fit and raring to go. Div 2 is a tough league. The opposition defenders are going to know he's injury prone and will be doing their best to put him on the side lines.

Why not give an opportunity to somebody from the lower leagues? That's where the potential is. I'm sure our gaffer has knowledge of Non League strikers.

:scarf: :scarf: Good luck Kerr, I think I’m getting my wires crossed or are one or two hoping for a twenty a season centre back.😁
