It’s so true that the late goals you tend to remember are the ones you concede not the ones you score. And no I can’t remember a later winner off the top of my head either - though there has probably has been one.

The thing that stood out yesterday for me was the combative spirit in the squad. When I see that I always feel like we’ll be ok.

Wasn’t a late winner but there was Matt Platts equaliser v Cambridge in 2020 as well which was certainly like getting 3pts

Ross Hannah and the 95th minute equaliser at Aldershot when we were down to nine men. Felt like a win at the time and will never be forgotten by those lucky enough to be there.

More recently, last season losing 2-0 at AFC Wimbledon, when Campbell scored in the 88th minute and Mahoney equalised in the 96th minute.
Only a draw but felt like a win.

Yes that was truly memorable and much enjoyed in the Standen Arms afterwards I seem to recall.

Sort of proves my point though. Of the games mentioned above I was actually present at most of them. And the only one I can remember is the Tranmere loss. And I wasn’t even there on the day. My cup is forever half empty I fear.

On the subject of Matt Platt I didn't think there was any need for the booing when he came on.
