100%. Can defend, can’t create, cannot score, no true pace anywhere on the pitch and no money in the budget to either bring some quality in or to that point change the manager if needed. Too right I’m worried!

Agreed. Have gone another step backwards even from last season off what I’ve seen.

Other than Ben Whitfield no one that we’ve brought in has added to the squad, and in most cases the new players are a downgrade.

Add to that some strange selections and set ups from a manager who seemed broken and incoherent in his interview earlier.

Even under Dunn we at least Quigley but with this lot where are the goals coming from? Plus we’re shipping them at will

They played a system and gave us space 90% of league 2 teams won't do that this season. Scott Smith is laughably poor, booty not much better. I'm.lraying the injured lads come good or we are genuinely in for a slog of a season. I'm hopeful we turn it round but if youre a floating fan you wouldn't waste your money after these last few home games
Preston had made wholesale changes which I think is more relevant than their style of play.

I thought Josh Gordon being man of the match kind of summed it up today. He put himself about a bit and clearly cared but ultimately he didn't deliver, and yet he was probably the best shout for MOTM (or maybe Newby, who also put himself about a bit and had a decent attempt in the second half).

I'm hoping he loves the club and needs money
Not after how he was treated after he left
Firstly we needed a target man up front not had one since Quigley.
On this performance we will struggle to stay up

On the Evatt front very rarely do people returning to a club perform.

Yes clarify how Evatt was treat
He was the one hawking his mutton to Fylde .
He was given a rise, till Bolton came in we received a fee
The same manoeuvre was done by Woods that Carlisle wanted him.
I was amazed in a interview on his leaving having won the league Evatt saying people better be careful what they say,is that what you are referring to.

We know the problem lack of scoring opportunities and goals, we lacked a scorer last year and still not got one. Slow at coming out of defence and for some reason the final ball in the opponents' half never gets there. Will it change, yes, and I think we have the players here but injuries and lack of confidence have not helped.

Not sure how fit he is but I’d like to see big Innes and Josh Gordon get a run of games up front together; and tell Whits (when he’s back obviously) and Barkheuizen to get plenty of crosses in

How would that work with a back 3 ?
The way Whing sets up it's one up top and someone tucked behind , early days but Camerons first touch is garbage Whitfield and Barkhuiezen would then have to play wingbacks but to me that would be pointless !

I think we should wait till he has all his players at his disposal, the only point I would make on Saturdays display and choice of team why he did not use a central defender that was available to him with the player on loan from Aston Villa.
