Nige keep telling yourself it was a nothing game but it was a big marker for the trouble we are in.
I listened to 5 minutes of the first half commentary at 2-0 and in that time Blackpool passed it through us at will and Winterbottom pulled off a couple of stops. That was enough for me.
We may grab a win here and there but that will give a false sense all is ok. It’s not.
Sickened at this result tonight. Can take nothing positive from it at all.

Jonty wait till Saturday because if it doesn't change Whing will be gone !
But as I said previously why is anybody not surprised I said at work before the season started we'll be near the bottom even with a full squad ( without more players I January ) we'll be luck to finish outside the bottom six !

It was an awful performance Jonty. Im desperate for Whing to do well but I thought after the last home game the body language from the players was poor and I questioned then whether Whing had lost the dressing room. After tonight ive seen nothing to change that. As for Saturdays attendance we will get the usual 3,000 or so hard core supporters but results like this no matter what competition its in or what team we put out does nothing to attract that floating supporter to go to Holker street..

I'm not sure I buy that. I would be very surprised if we build off that to get a result against Crewe, and even in September the Shrewsbury match is beginning to feel like a relegation six pointer.

Watched the match on sky. I thought Mahoney looked ok but then my Mrs said he looks like Jamie Tart off Ted Lasso.

It was absolutely crucial that we got recruitment right in summer after losing so many key players and it’s looking like we don't have enough quality in depth. Even losing players like Tom White, 100% - battler every game. He would walk into this team.

Buy that the team was more unbalanced than it has been or that people have been told to avoid injury at all costs.

I am not surprised at all. The squad isn't strong enough and we sadly don't have the quality at either end, or in the middle. It’s a recipe for only going only way.

You're right it was unbalanced but its still the same patterns we've seen for weeks. No desire and no quality sadly

Well - can't say he's not honest.

He also said that as the manager he takes the blame, but the players also have to look at their own performances.

To me it seems that most players are going through the motions, but still picking up a nice wad of cash and smiling all the way to the bank.
