Wasn't that long ago that we would have already played a few games to get to this stage!

Some great games back in the day, my favourite was most definitely the Brentford game, the atmosphere, the weather, the greasy pitch and just pure grit and determination..

Never seen a howitzer quite like it from that day to this.

You just cannot get velocity like that with modern day footballs.

Barnsley for me had everything an FA Cup tie should have, drama in a David v Goliath tie, the sending off, goals a plenty from both sides. Things of beauty and awe especially that Banks exocet free kick. Hope when all looked lost and then sadly heartbreak at the end for one team, unfortunately it was us.
Was certainly a good couple of days too.

Neil Tarrant night; such a shame it wasn’t now when highlights would be readily available, would love to watch the goals back

I think this year more than any we could really do financially with a decent FA Cup run. Last season’s League Cup encounter at Chelsea bailed us out but we’re already out of course of the that competition and we can’t progress in the Vertu. Mansfield,Maidstone,Doncaster all put paid to us progressing over the last few years and to lose in the First Round and be in early November, with only the League to attract floating fans, would not be ideal to say the least.
