So proud of the lads today, that was some team performance. Stanway was inspirational, took our chances really well. Very happy tonight.

Full credit that’s a hell of a result and especially being down to ten men for the last half hour or so. And managing to Nick a goal whilst down to ten at 1-0 also.

Even if the football wasn’t great against Shrewsbury and Oldham, you have to say that since the Blackpool drubbing aside from the Tranmere cup game, we’ve been a lot more resilient and solid and started to show the signs of ending last season strongly such as the win away at port vale. That grit and determination makes up for a lack of football at times and will get results as it has today.

My heart sank when Shipley went but the team stuck at it , absolutely delighted Stanway he'll go for around £1 million!, another happy Saturday!

Couldn’t even listen to the last few minutes of that. Couldn’t be prouder of the team today. Couldn’t care less about much else.

For the next few hours the world is a slightly happier place. Marvellous!

Id be stunned if Stanway is playing for us next season. He will have plenty of teams keeping a close eye on him with his performances recently

Great result ...and improving performances in so many areas ...

Only 5 points off the play-offs now ... ( a man can have his dreams )... well done to all involved . :scarf: :skill: :scarf:
First match : Barrow v Northampton Town : Sat. 24th Sept. 1960 ... won 1-0... ( which was nice )

I was shaking like a shitting dog once we went down to 10 men…..
They score

They hit post

But the lads hung on!

Clean undies needed here though🤣
A price worth paying after a brilliant battling team performance.

24 shots from them against our 5 shots - at one point it was 4-4. Shows how the match went in the second half. Walsall must hate playing us.

I know I keep saying this but the turn around from that night at Blackpool has been nothing but unbelievable
Absolutely superb win
