Brain dead performance, brain dead tactics
Set up not to lose absolute shit feared of going for a game and losing. We end up losing anyways

Re: Barrow v Cambridge United, match thread
Well, that was garbage wasn't it. How Newby got mom is beyond me, might as well have given it to Jackson, he was worse. Whing is living on borrowed time now, can't see him lasting until Xmas. We have 2 headless chickens running round up front, and a midfield with no idea how to find them as they never make the same run twice. The best 2 midfielders, MJ and McCann, have yet to play together as MJ is needed to prop up our poor centre backs. If Whing survives, we need a pacey centre back and a forward in January otherwise we'll be back in the National League. Crowds are already voting with their feet, the mass exodus after the second goal was worrying to say the least. Worrying times.

What was the attendance?
What did Whing say about the supporters? If he's having a go at them that's 500 off the next home game, which the club can't afford.

That was a tough watch.
As we have done all season we play too deep.
Attacking wingers been asked to play as wing backs and defend....no good.
3 at the back is not working but our reluctance to bring in a RB means we can't play a back 4
11 players in our own box whilst 1 down and chasing the game. Ball just comes back.
Why do we keep thumping the ball high up to Newby who can't win a header and offers very little else.
No threat up front and midfield missing today.
A shocking, clueless performance.
Whingy wants to give the supporters something to shout about well after that awful showing he has !!!

Don't let the old man in.

He was just having a conversation with a supporter who was leaving the main stand. Didn't look like anything out of the ordinary unless something else has happened.

Wasn’t wilds last game, an almost sell out gate against Mansfield? Stadium was absolutely bouncing, won’t see that again for a while.bluessupporter wrote: ↑Sat Nov 22, 2025 6:15 pm I just picked it up from bluebirds earlier post:

Listened to the interview, nothing really damning from AW, just mentioned “Thought it was flat in here even at 0-0 easy to boo, been a fan myself “ disagree, holker end were singing the first half, second half we were awful and no motivation for the fans at all. Never heard any booing from the popular side.
Re: Barrow v Cambridge United, match thread
Post match interview says it all.... rinse and repeat of we aren't good enough, team of chances no goals, blah blah blah seems like whing has even given up with his body language.

In his Radio Cumbria interview he said he had a family bereavement this week. Hadn't seen his family for 3/4 days just wanted to write this week off and get home to his family.
