Football is a funny old game which we all can attest to. This isn’t Chelsea we are playing away from home, and will all depend on the mindset of our Jekyll and Hyde side. Wigan should be better than us, but will they be?
We have to make Wigan doubt themselves and put our stamp on the game from the off and I’m sure our supporters will play their part to help them do just that.

Forecast as the underdogs - we have every opportunity to put a stamp on this game and come away with a ticket to the next round. We need our team to turn up with the will to win.

It is astonishing that in your entire history you've never reached The Fourth Round. There has to be a first time. After tomorrow you could be one match away from it. Good Luck!

In last week's Newport thread it said Scott Smith's booking was his 5th and would rule him out of the Wigan tie. However, the NWEM has an aricle about how he is looking forward to the tie. I did wonder how he could have amassed 5 bookings on so few appearances.

Whatever team is put out, I just hope they give it their all, individually and as a team!

Don't want to see them going through the motions, I want to see some desire, fight and passion!

We have nothing to loose but everything to gain, we should approach this with no fear!

I was puzzled but just checked and now cards only apply to the competitions where they were awarded. Glad he can play.

All 5 of Scott smiths yellows came in the league - so his suspension is from the next league game

MJ Williams - although sent off in the league was given a domestic suspension which is why the first game of the ban was the fa cup game at Spennymoor

Josh Gordon is the better one - he was suspended for the Newport game after picking up his 5th yellow card v Cambridge - however one of those yellow cards was in the FA Cup.

The FA just make it up as they go along

Well, they do have the perfect role model in FIFA.

Digressing, but I thought it showed how corrupt they are that they contrived to give Ronaldo a modified suspension after his violent conduct so that he could play in the World Cup (His meeting with Trump being a pure coincidence).

So if one of our players who has an unblemished record whacks someone in the face at Wigan, presumably we can request a probationary suspension.

Exactly what I had in mind, Jim. Trump and Infantino are just a little too close for my liking.

If Barrow win tomorrow this won’t be a giant killer in anyone’s minds than Barrow fans

They are only one league above us- if the team go there terrified and set up wrongly we will be spanked

Go there and have a go that’s all people want to see

There’s not going to be a big home crowd there, our 1500 backing will be making the noise. No reason why we cant go there and get a great result. Up the Bluebirds!
