Just 4 days to FA Cup time!

For all things Barrow AFC. Keep discussions civil and fair, we're all Barrow aren't we!

Let’s be very honest here.
BAFC have been poor all season. In the 18 league games we have never been the better team even when we have won.
Poor old Andy spends most of his Interview opportunities playing with his nose/ear/neck/ unshaved bits and talking a diatribe of fantasy.
The interviewers are generally easy with their probes.
In reality if AW and his staff told the truth of how they feel the dressing room would be lost.
Iain Woods would be destroyed.
The Directors would reevaluate matters and spend further £/time elsewhere.
And say to AW thanks finally so much for your
honesty…bye bye…
We are NEVER going to be a Managers/players first choice..on fact Ian Evatt is a great example. Quick Stepping stone before it all goes wrong.
. We are now a Greater Manchester Club well down the pecking order. Most of the Staff/players probably have no idea where Barrow actually is or have any idea about our town or what it means to have a football club back in ‘the league’
Wigan Athletic are much like us..
lets learn from their journey and have a day of stresslesd fun…

For some reason Wigan don’t play on Tuesday when everyone else in their league does so we might well face a stronger team than a lot of other league one sides are putting out today.
It’s a free shot in front of a big away following, nowt to lose really

Wigan did play last Tuesday. They beat Burton 1-0.

I think he means the coming Tuesday 7th where all but four league one teams are playing. That’s also a bigger match for us against Tranmere.
No expectations today, no pressure and maybe that will help. Can’t see anything other than a 2 or 3 nil Wigan win but it’s the FA cup and there’ll be a few upsets, maybe we will cause one of them…
An FA cup run and some money would certainly be very welcome for the club and maybe help boost the January window funds.

Thank God you’re not in the changing room giving the pre-match team talk!

Quality statement, let's hope it's read out ten mins before kick off to really motivate the team...NOT!

I am in Harrogate today and will be driving home about 3pm. Normally, I can listen via my iphone to ifollow commentary. Is this going to be available as usual this afternoon, with it being a cup match?

Let’s park all that off for another day. We've got a game to win!

Wigan should have played Burton Albion at home, Tuesday coming.
Burton Albion play Brackley Town away in the FA Cup on Monday night, hence why they played them last Tuesday instead.

As much as a FA cup run would bost the coffers I'd rather win on Tuesday and ( hopefully) stay in the league as the cost of dropping out is enormous.
However I do want to see effort and fight ....maybe we can win today and Tuesday.
It's the hope that kills you......

Are we expecting about 1,600 in the away end?

I would think so. Would of been more if we were playing better no doubt.
