Last 8- W1, D5, L2
3 of the draws have been score draws, all have ended 2-2 and in each one with Barrow coming from behind to rescue a point….So it does show we aren’t folding and showing some fight.

Not quite relegation form, but also not enough to get out of that bottom third. 4 more points and we’d be lower mid table and not having this conversation. Next 8 games we’ll be half way through the season and we’ll see by then if we are out of this sticky patch we seem to be constantly in at present.

Just sticking to facts and trying to be level headed about it.

Give it a rest fellas, I enjoyed yesterday - the team showed spirit and we could have won (yes, I know we didn’t). Wigan are 39 places above us, just to put the result and performance into context. If you think those players don’t care, just rewatch the goal celebrations from yesterday (and Newport).

Referee aside, the formation we play at home is awful, take tonight Whitfield put in some great crosses but no one there, we're at home we play with one up top ,Gordon had no support yet again,
Second half why didn't Whing put Williams further up bring Shipley on ?, Barkhuizen was ineffective so he could have brought Newby on,
He hasn't got a clue tactically, it's a shambles!

I don't know mate but this can't go on as soon as the first goal goes in heads dropped straight away!
We're all over the place at times, we lose our shape too easily!

I don’t normally say too much on here. But an awful and biased refereeing performance aside that was woeful tonight.
I think Whing’s position is untenable now. We are so poor. We should not be playing 3 at the back now with Canavan. He’s way too slow and ponderous. But we can’t play 4 at the back as we don’t have a single right back in the club which is a crazy situation to be in. The midfield is soft and can’t control a game and we play one up front (and I do like Josh Gordon) but he’s not a goal scorer and may just get you 7-8 goals a season. That together with the negative set up, lack of ideas, no plan B and dreadful dull football will see us go down under Whing. It’s not coincidence that the only good spell that we have had this season has come when Rob Kelly was here.

if you think you are passionate just because you come on a forum and whinge when things are going wrong, then I would have another look at the definition of the word passionate.
Home games generally the fans are quiet and can’t really be described as passionate. Away from home, somewhat better but you’ve got to be slightly delusional to describe Barrow fans at the moment as passionate.
The football on offer over the last four years has helped to kill any passion. Barrow haven’t served up any regular excitement/entertainment on the pitch since the crowds came back since Covid.
Cooper - Wild - Clemence - and Whing have all put out teams that are as dull as dishwater. And Phil Beown was no better.
