And when Manager at Forest Green 1 win in 18.
We need a proven Manager to save us ,it's looking like the season before we went out of the league.
Fundamentally we have need a centre forward for two seasons and that's not been addressed, the loss of three midfielders this season has further weakened the team.

The next appointment which needs to be soon will be decisive as if we get this wrong it will impact on seasons to come and see us fall down the none league pyramid.
The Director of Football must take a lot of blame but that can be sorted at the end of the season. We are in the last chance saloon.
Forest Green were basically down before he set foot in the place. Everyone knows that.
But he only won 1 game in 18 lasted 6 months.A possible points tally of 54 and he managed 6 points
We have a few more games .
He is not the answer

Can't be the only supporter feeling after the last 10+ years that our luck is finally biting us in the ass, whether it be down to the boiler, not keeping evatt/wild, we've had a good run in the EFL but we need to come to reality.... we aren't a EFL club when it comes down to finances, training and on the pitch, we've been riding our luck for a long time and well its coming to fruit despite management.... we are in a dark place as a club and we need to stick it out but looking at attendances we have all given up, even them on the pitch, can only see us scraping relegation unless we have a serious transfer window in January.

Serious wake up call for the board, I've watched this club climb the Blue Square prem to winning the national league, they need to pull their fingers out and get us sorted, or sell us on, we've gone from being 9th and 8th to another two/three relegation fights AGAIN in 2 seasons.

Dig Deep for Barrow AFC

Over half a season to go and it’s doom and gloom from some. The board have reacted they can clearly see there is a problem and they are looking at remedies to sorting the problem. We have to trust them on this, not a time panic but definitely one to show up and back our team as often as we can.

Does feel that way, walking to the game yesterday, hardly any cars for the game on ceme hill and this ominous boarded up pub with the traffic at a stand still going away from Holker street .

But still plenty of games left, as the saying goes “if you don’t love them at their worse, you don’t deserve them at their best”

A lot of things that we have been screaming for were in the way we played last night. Barkhuizen and Whitfield played like proper wingers, staying wide, taking on full backs and getting good crosses in, two of which should have been put away by Gordon. The opposite wingers attacking the far post as proven by the goal. Two strikers supporting one another.

I was fairly confident before last night we had enough quality in squad to be competitive and it was a case of taking the shackles off. Now I'm not so sure.

It doesn't matter who the choice is as manager, if they can't for whatever reason, bring anyone in in January, we're going south.

As stated above, woeful finishing of the chances we did create last night cost us dearly. The lack of goals is the main problem for us of course and we desperately need a swash-buckling centre forward. Is there are a shortage of swashes or maybe a lack of bucklers to pass on their skills? Let's hope the Wizards of BoDs can find us one come January.

Let’s not go there with the “we are not an EFL club” We are in a relegation scrap so we need to rally round. As for attendances, I’m guilty, only my second game last night for various reasons. The place is grim and soulless on nights like last night, but that reflects the general mood all round. We know what it can be.
There’s still time to get the results we need to climb the table. Next Manager is crucial and if we can we must improve the squad in January

That's because they ARE wingers.
Not wingback or 10s or anything else....
SO PLAY TO THEIR STRENGTHS AND AS WINGERS.
It's hardly rocket science is it.
It's lack of CF that's hampering us......that and a decent defender.

Innes Cameron- isn’t he supposed to be the big man up front to get on the end of these crosses.

Just watched Macdonalds and Barkhuizen interviews you can see and hear their disappointment, but let's see what they're on about
Soft goals, the defence who is organising them ? ,someone said they looked scared to death I agree, when anyone runs at them not one but the whole back 3 back off no one challenges them, corners WHY don't we leave someone up field?
There appears to be no one vocal in there ( even when Canavan plays ), I mentioned last night I've not really seen any team score a decent goal against us !
Set pieces Corners we wasted nearly every one no one appears to attack the ball or where to be positioned.
Last night I watched Earing and Smith they were here there and everywhere but where were they actually playing at times we only had Mccann isolated surely he should be more forward than defensive?
Up front Gordon his first touch is awful and at times him Hemmings and Barkhuizen were in a straight line giving no options to the person on the ball!
This is all down to coaching, the problem we have is that we have Whitfield, Mccann Barkhuizen Mahoney Williams who have played at a higher level then we have player's who are at best National League level, the balance is totally wrong!
It's obvious McDonald and Barkhuizen saw this last night!
The board have to fix this or we are down and Wood and Joe Harvey need a reality check because they appear clueless!

There is 25 games yet and people are given up

this we don’t deserve to be in the EFL nonsense is part of the problem. Do you think Harrogate think like that or Bromley or even Accrington no they roll up their sleeves and get on with it.

The board here have invested in the team on the pitch but not as much into the structure of the club. The number of managers we have gone through but none have been successful in the long run. Wild was the best but he fell down that little old Barrow mentality. We’ve been in the EFL long enough now it’s time for the club to get professional

Employ people to do the job proper marketing people proper football people not people that have vested interests we’ve handed the keys of the castle to a football agent

Anyeay plenty of time left this season

That is a crushing defeat in such a big match near the bottom. But we can't afford to get crushed by it, can we? We can talk about our toothlessness and our wide-openness at the back but it's the psychology that hits me regarding this performance.

We dominated the first half, must have had a dozen corners without really looking likely to score, and then get sucker-punched by their first attempt on goal. We actually played some nice constructive football going forward in that first half but it all washed up to nought on the rocks of our bitelessness (if such a word exists).

Nevertheless that should have all been behind us when we got our equaliser right at the start of the second half. At that point we should have had all the initiative, all the momentum, and a mentally superior team would have swarmed all over the opposition at that point. Instead, hard though it was to believe, from that point on it was they who carried nearly all the momentum and drive. And sure enough they got the winner which, psychologically, they probably deserved on account of showing more desire and drive than us from the moment when the match went 1-1. And, yes, the winner came when once again they had a player in acres of space to fire home. So disappointing. We need our heads looking at. It should have been us, not them, taking control of that match after our equaliser. Mentality monsters? Not us last night.

Yep, We needed to make the first 20 minutes count and we didn’t.
