Who knows? What will be, will be but I like the cut of his gib. Comes over as more Evatt than Dunn and, for sure, we've seen a change in attitude and approach even in just his 2 games here. As Ted Lasso would say: "It's the hope that kills you" but maybe this time...
Don't let the old man in.

I have to agree.. simplicity is key, attitude and mentality too and he sounds full of that so yeh, Im feeling good about this.

Comes across as someone whos going to take charge and set an example than someone whos going to let players get away with lacking effort. Another good interview, he peaks well, 3 points tomorrow please

First ones out the door should be Cameron, Walker and Hemmings.

Listening to Paul Gallagher, his vision mirrors the team that I and surely everyone else wants to see ,pressing team's and everyone giving their all , I always thought Whing was clueless tactically and didn't know where to play, players!

Just hope we can get rid of some players ( easier said than done) and bring in at least 4 or 5 new players!

Agreed. None of them are good enough.

34 appearances between them all and just one goal.

I saw him helping out with the warm up at Accrington so he’s been at the club for more than two games.

He started that week iirc; think it was the Monday or Tuesday that week

In his interview Gallagher said he wants pace and aggression.
Gonna have to sign a lot of players then as many players currently have neither.

What do we as fans want to see / hear different from the new management team,

- If we get the chance at kick off, - kick off first half towards the Crossbar End. Attacking the HSE second half gives us an extra edge. It just does, so why wouldn't you want to attack the end where your own fans are gathered in the second half?
- absolutely no use of the word underdog, and the other phrase. Too many of our previous have used this as a soft landing “we are Barrow what do you expect”. It is negative, boot it out.

What else…..

Back to basics and being solid at the back, gives you something to build on then. I can’t remember the last time we kept a clean sheet and our defensive line and shape is all over at times, not helped by persisting with wingbacks who aren’t wingbacks.
We miss a bit of leadership too and are a very quiet team I’d like to see a couple of experienced heads come in. Upfront we know we are lacking. Midfield too is probably light unless we give Booty another go id want someone in there too.

I think we have some decent attacking players Whitfield Barkhuizen etc and need to play in a way to get them wide and further up the pitch, with cover behind them rather than them being the defensive cover. Fletcher in the middle and pushing forward looks good so we need to play to his strengths and get crosses into the box more often, when we do as against Salford and Tranmere we can be a threat.

I think generally just have a bit more of a go and not sit back like under whing which won’t be easy and is largely down to confidence I know, but we need to get the first goal more often than not and not give ourselves a mountain to climb each week. By being better defensively we have a chance.

This is true as I’m not sure Dalton United would take them on loan at the minute.

The good thing with the postponed Bristol Rovers match is it gives him chance to work with the players.
Reading PNE forum they seem to think if would be a good opportunity to send their younger players go out on loan.
We start with a blank sheet hopefully this will be the start of a new beginning

like a nursery club - could be a good thing.
