Listened to his pre match talks both with BBCRC and the official site and he’s saying all the usuals “implementation”, “front foot” “working hard in training”, etc, what we need to hear him say now in the post match is some real home truths about recognising our very poor record of late and conceding first (again). Its a horrible downward spiral

We've got to bring in some quality signings at both ends or else we are only going one way. We don't want to be checking Harrogate and Crawley scores, but thats where we are right now.

I don't mind Cameron as a target man and he is good with his head but limited minutes and service won't help. Hemmings and Smith ? Injured?
Gordon? Nothing saying he's been recalled
Williams? Can't believe he's been left out so Injured or other ?
Assuming Canavan is still banned ?
If the club are working to bring players in then hopefully its asap because 2 games at home now are vital to us pushing away from the bottom 2 !!!!

Gordon been carrying a knock had a scan and is out for 4 weeks. Also Williams out for 10-12 weeks after injury in training.

Exactly - Cameron has played 30-40 minutes since October!! Came on when we were 3 down - won every header - not sure what you expect

Gordon and Williams are not gonna make enough difference we’re in this position after playing them

We must have a very tough training regime I’ve lost count of the number of injuries that happen there.
Got to hope Gallys got some good contacts as no ifs or buts we urgently need quality or risk going down.

It hasn’t been a great afternoon, but there’s some very harsh comments on here. The guy’s been in the building for a couple of weeks, it’s his first competitive match, he’s working with someone else’s squad (a squad which has been in the bottom third for the majority of the season), and it sounds like he’s lost two of his best players ahead of the game. Yes, mistakes made - and lessons to learn - but maybe we at least give the bloke a chance before writing him off!

I thought that how many injuries in training it's unbelievable!

I know folk are probably sick of me like a broken record with this but it still baffles me we won’t; it’s been clear from the first friendly I went to against Bolton that we need one, or a right wing back so Whitfield isn’t wasted there if we insist on carrying on with this formation

Apart from one open training session at Holker street I don't think we have trained on a grass pitch since end of October. Im not sure training every day on a 3G pitch to going to play on grass on Saturday is conducive to avoiding muscle injuries. Josh is a calf MJ is a groin.

Defensively we've struggled all season, it has been masked by Stanway performing brilliantly now he's struggling everyone can see how crap we are back there I said it early season playing this system ( back 3 ) will relegate us !, I sincerely hope I'm wrong 😔

Ultimately what we’re seeing is the result of bad appointments and recruitment. We’ve never found stability after evatt ran off at the end of the promotion season. Think we’ll just about be okay this year but next year we’ll drop back into non league, with just a scoreboard and some temporary stands as a relic from our days in the league. Not a [SwearFilter] clue why we’ve invested so much into wood, he must be laughing when he gets his monthly wage! Signed a load of gash
