5 home defeats on the run. That might be quite an unwanted record & another home game on Tuesday.

Can any statistically minded supporter tell us the last time we have been so poor at home?

2300 100 Crawley

I thought it was an awful game saw nothing to make me think it was a good idea to go.
The best thing today was a Bovril at half time

How many corners did we have and a free kick from the edge of the penalty area that created zero chances?

We set up a few times with 2 players on the edge of the penalty box only for Stanway to kick it long

All our best players out of position

Can anyone suggest who our best starting 11 are?

Mediocrity all over

Can I as a season ticket holder for many years be bothered to go on Tuesday?

The last time I remember us losing so many was the season we literally survived the NL on the last day.
If we are looking at another 3 coming in then lets hope they change our fortunes!
We've still got Williams and Gordon to come back from injury and is Canavans ban up ?
Manager clearly doesn't rate Cameron and no idea why Jackson is taking the free kicks and corners. McCann was doing that previous weeks and was doing ok. Feel sorry for Whitfield and other natural wingers, they aren't getting played in natural positions. Hopefully new additions mean we change this god awful formation and soon 🙏

Im not sure we will see Canavan back. His contract is up in the summer I can see us loaning him out to free up some money and Williams is 12 weeks so thats more or less season over. Gordon 3-4 weeks and Gallagher said 10 weeks for Winterbottom with his interview with Adam that was done last Thursday. Foley is a few weeks away but is back training all be it non contact.

Ok here goes from the football archives website

Only went back to the 1945/46 season ( as I began to lose the will to live doing this & it was depressing me)!

1970/71 season we had 6 consecutive home defeats in the autumn of that season - we finished bottom of Division 4
1950/51 also 6 consecutive home defeats finishing 19th that season

Have had a few 5 consecutive home losses in a season which is where we are at now.

However, 1957/58 season takes some beating. On beating Chester 4-1 at home (Feb 15th) we were in 3rd position the league. We then embarked on an end of season run of 3 draws and 11 defeats. In fact we lost the last 10 games of the season. Finishing 18th. However we only lost 5 home games in a row during that period.

One day I might look at our pre war record as we had some dire seasons in that period as well.

You are the eternal optimist 🤣 which is probably why you have survived as a Barrow supporter the same as I have. Doomed to perpetual disappointment but refusing to believe it 🤪

I’m going on Tuesday because as hard as it is at times, when we finally come good, I want to be in the ground that day to experience what it feels like to win. The only way is up.

Just seen the disallowed goal. There’s no attempt by Rose to play the ball and he didn't impede the keepers save or his ability to react to the loose ball.. Incredibly harsh decision and you wont see one like that again all season. When you’re down you get a kicking.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

It was possibly half way through the first half and we had a throw-in on the popular side level with Crawley's penalty area. I can't recall who took it but not one of our players was demanding the ball or making a run to receive it. Eventually the referee had to give our thrower the hurry-up to get on with it. The incident sums us up at the minute. We're lacking everything a team needs to succeed. No responsibility, no enthusiasm, no leaders. I've just listened to the manager's post-match interview. I really hope he succeeds but he needs to re-watch that game asap and get real. Stanway made a great save early on and their forward managed to hit the post when scoring seemed the easier option in the second half. Two struggling teams very nearly cancelled each other out, but they didn't.

I'm just glad we have this Tuesday game coming up-to hopefully put things right.
As hard as it is we have to get there and help them get through this.

Jackson certainly is a blue eyed boy.....how he got motm today is beyond me, almost as confusing is the fact he starts week on week.
He's [SwearFilter] poor imo.

The offside is never offside, he’s the other side of the keeper.

Question is how many chances did we create/miss…

Crawley right till the 90th kept people up from corners n knew we may snatch this, imagine us doing that away from home.

Danny rose worked his chuds off, as did majority to be fair, but after 55/60 mins it was easy to see he was done. 89th minute, tries to bring one down on his last legs, breaks to them n wallop. So bizarre that they couldn’t see he couldn’t move after 60mins. I know we’ve nothing to bring on but put fletcher up top n brings in behind
