I respect your opinion. I don't agree with it. Ian Wood does not live and breathe Barrow. Us fans who have been there season after season, not taking a penny from the club (quiet the opposite) in the rain, snow and sunshine live a breathe Barrow.

Saying a football agent that takes probably a very healthy salary out of a club that he would leave at the drop of a hat for another club willing to pay him more money is a joke. Not an opinion.
Take your point RTW and yes we all live eat and sleep Barrow hence the passion on this Forum. I can only take it from the owners perspective these are seasoned businessmen and don’t suffer fools gladly as we’ve seen from the revolving management door.

They obviously see things from Wood that none of us see and more so be satisfied with the way things are being run even if on the surface we aren’t.

I’m as frustrated as the next fan with the way things have gone let’s just hope we can get through this and have a root and branch review end of season. Been good to share our views enjoyed the craic. :scarf:
I also hope we make it through this patch. Some big games coming up. Hopefully the squad we have right now understand we expect nothing short of 100% commitment and effort and whatever happens happens.

It’s insane that the last time we were at Holker Street, Gallagher was introduced on the pitch and Saturday it’ll be the same with Dino

They might not suffer fools gladly but they're pretty astute at hiring them on and off the pitch.

Great interview as you would expect very passionate and confident. I think this guy will see us safe.

If the managers and players were all as great as their interviews we'd be top of the league!

There’s no denying that Russel but I’ve got a good feeling about this guy, reminds me of Nosferatu so they’ll be no messing with him. :scarf:

If you were really that arsed you’d have sat in the Barrow end
[/quote]

Wasn't going to make a response to what I said as everyone's views of what happened are their opinion and valid. But the above end quote I take exception to. I told you a Shrewsbury mate got the tickets so we agreed to neutral seating. Otherwise I'm nearly always with the Barrow away section. when I get to games. Those who know me know trips to Shrewsbury are a lot nearer to me than Barrow home games which I get up regularly for. I've lived and died with this club for well over 60 years, ridiculed in the playground as a kid for supporting the team, saw us relegated at Alfreton(other than 1972 that was the worst I've ever felt), endured the Atherstone incident. Flew home when working abroad to see Barrow play Winsford in 1999 as it was our last game in the 20th century (a boring 0-0 in the pouring rain - I did admire the streaker braving the weather though). And win the cup in 2010 & get to see the lads play Cheltenham in December 2020 during the covid season - what a moment to be back in the EFL again never ever thought I'd see that hence why we must survive this season. Never call me not being arsed about Barrow or sitting in the Barrow end. Hope you are going to Barrow away games at 72.
