Just watched the highlights.
1st goal conceded we try to block the shot and it falls to a Fleetwood player.
2nd goal no idea how that beats the keeper right by the front post.
3rd goal was a howler ! How the [SwearFilter] does a keeper dive foward and punch the ball backwards into his own net !!!!!
I don't mind the lad but he's made a couple of errors this season and I think we need a change

Let’s remember these players are being paid good money to go and represent the club and the town.

The club and the town sadly lack any kind of ambition. We have on paper some very good players but there is something wrong at the club. I keeping saying it but we have no structure crap training facilities.

My advise would be to try and enjoy the last 14 games because they will be the last in the football league - I think when we go down the slide will continue until we get to the level we belong maybe northern premier league - prove me wrong

I wonder if the football agent will still be in charge next season

Watching Dinos post match interviews you can clearly see a frustrated manager. I get the feeling it’s no more Mr nice guy

He outed the players saying that when he went into the dressing room they were just gonna try and defend there lead but he confronted them and said no go get that third goal !!!!!

I feel he is gonna tell a few players a few home truths which I think they need to hear !!!

I think he might just save us even if we end 22nd after that we push the utter shit out the door and start a fresh in the summer
Let there be BARROVIAN BEDLAM :scarf: :scarf:

Just listened to Dinno's interview. He said that there are certain players in this team who are not pulling their weight. He says that when the going gets tough you get tougher. He said he noticed when it did get tough some players performances just dropped off and he knows who they are and there will be changes.I hope he roots them out and shows them the door. You could tell in the tone of his voice he must have been seething when after scoring two goals Fleetwood were allowed to dominate in the second half.

Totally agree with you Methuselah but who do we have to come in at the present time? Who long are the likes of Whitfield, Foley, Williams, Smith out for? Then who is left with the right calibre/attitude etc etc to step up who didn't play today?

If we go down this season it is down to one thing and one thing only, recruitment. Whoever is responsible for this shambles really need to fall on their sword. Last season our midfield consisted of players on their way up. The recruitment this summer was mainly players on their way down career wise or players who had quality once but have had a awful injury record. Not signing a recognised Right back is also a massive mistake. It means we have to play a formation that these players just can't
seem to play.
No thought seems to have been made to sign a coherent squad, it all seems rather scattergun. Didn't Paul Hornby say that Andy Whing didn't have a lot of impact into the players that came in in the summer? Who did then.
Then we come to January. Giving the Manager job to someone who has never been a manager of a senior team in the middle of a relegation battle and letting him bring kids into a defence fighting relegation in League two beggars belief. Somebody needs to be held responsible. The whole season has been a farce

Absolutely this. I guess it comes down ultimately though to whether we haven't spent well or we've not actually had enough to spend.

Absolute shambles today, 3 points of fury:

1) Canavan is meant to be captain/leader of that team and they are shameful at the back, like West Cumbria league level. He also personally doesn’t look fit at all for a professional at that level.

2) Stanway is an overhyped liability, great shot stopper but can’t do the basics. Culpable for both goals today, and when you’re fighting to stay up that’s an unacceptable level to be at.

3) The 3 at the back is destroying my soul, anyone who goes to Holker Street (and beyond), whether that’s fans, players or coaching staff knows that formation is awful and nullifies the team.

We could do with someone to give half of these players the Alex Fergusonesque hairdryer treatment. They are taking money under false pretences. If they don,t perform next Saturday at Holker St I dread to think what kind of roasting they will get from the supporters.

Agree, I think confidence is playing a massive part this season esp with Canavan.
Personally I don't get how any of the 2 other keepers aren't getting a chance. 100% missing an old head experienced keeper.
Did we not revert to a back 4 against Harrogate?

On the contrary; if I recall correctly he said that Andy Whing panicked and wanted to replace the midfield 3 as quickly as possible.
Don't let the old man in.

Wintergreen . . . re the picture on page one of this thread, which you posted just before kick-off yesterday, with the accompanying caption "anything could happen in the next half-hour" . . .

Well, yes, it did . . .

Trouble is, it seems we forgot that anything could happen in the LAST half-hour too . . .

And it definitely did . . .

Obvious lesson? Any WASP worthy of the badge needs to sting for 90 minutes, not 30.

After what I witnessed yesterday it would take a minor miracle for Barrow to get the probable 5 wins needed from the remaining fixtures.
The two seasons that we flirted with relegation I thought we’d survive but i’m not thinking that this time. I’m fearing the worst. After losing to fellow relegation candidates Crawley and Harrogate at home and after yesterdays debacle what else can we expect but relegation.

If youre truly all in it together scrapping and fighting for each other determined to get out of the relegation fight then sureley when you score everyone piles in to celebrate together, fist pumps, passion the lot - if you watch the highlights some of them just didnt seem bothered. Not so sure this group is as 'together' as some would have us believe.
Look again stop putting rubbish like this on here ! There were plenty of player's celebrating take your agenda somewhere else!

Fair enough opinions are like bum holes we've all got one but for me it was the same both from Canavan and Gordon's goals, hardly exactly pumped up but if you see if different that's fine. Opinion, no agenda
