Ready for relegation now. We need a complete wipe the board (probably quite literally) reset.
Get in more local lads who want to play for shirt. Train locally in Barrow again and have some pride for f’s sake.

If you want local lads training in Barrow then go watch Holker Old Boys as thats the level you play at with a team full of locals ffs.

That was dire can’t say much more than what already has been said. Poor passing, no control, basics not done, couldn’t string passes together and what even was the game plan? Ended up with 4 strikers Gordon on the wing no wide menand still didn’t look like scoring totally in balanced and a shambles. That’s the worst performance for me since we’ve been back in the league. Bristol fans couldn’t believe how bad we were no fight, no urgency, didn’t win any duels.

Barkhuizen being subbed again and then walking past Dino said a lot to me. All is not well still in there something is seriously wrong. Players have off days but the attitude and air is totally wrong. Before tonight I’ve seen shoots of hope but tonight tells me we’re down without a miracle.

Rovers were worse off than us two months ago and got a good manager in and made good signings. We somehow took a bad team and position made horrendous choices and are somehow now even worse which seemed unthinkable back then.

Can we also keep playing in short off goal kicks and then back to wyll to hoof it so our defence and midfield are deep and 3 forwards spread across the pitch because something will come of it one day. Oh and when we are 2-0 in 80 mins with 4 strikers on the pitch, make sure all our players are in our own box off corners.

We need someone who can put the ball in the net or create a chance!! Gordon & Rose 2 of the worst strikers we have had in recent times.

Rose actually isn’t, we just don’t have any service whatsoever. McCann (only player to come out with any credit this season really) drops between the centre backs then either him or Canavan played the long diagonal looking for the winger….which later on seemed to be Josh Gordon (must have been strong booze in hospitality tonight to give him MOM btw) in whatever the heck formation we were meant to be playing last half an hour or so. Tonight was summed up nicely by the fact Lewis Shipley looked our most threatening player going forward!

Tonight was as bad as it’s been all season, completely outplayed, out worked, and out fought. The lack of pace and fitness was completely shown up once and for all

The thing that hurt me tonight wasn't the result or performance.

It was the fact I didn't feel any anger, frustration or any emotion towards it whatsoever, almost like I no longer cared.

In the first half, Bristol Rovers had 4 players up front, all a handful for our defenders.
Barrow had Fletcher up front on his own, Gordon hogging the touchline like a left winger and Newby in the middle behind Fletcher.
Barkhuizen right wing back again (what a waste of his talent).
There was no pressure at all on the Bristol defenders.
We finished up with Fletcher, Gordon, Rose and Walker on the pitch.
Desperation, but they could have done with Barkhuizen's crossing ability.
I have never seen so many people leaving the game before the final whistle.
Indeed in the stand some left before half time and a load of other just after Bristol's second goal.
It's been really depressing watching home games this season.
3 wins and 3 draws in 17 games and only 11 goals against 25 conceded.
9 games without scoring.
1 win and 8 defeats in the last 9 home games.
That's serious relegation form.
