He'd have done no better don’t forget Hornby said the player's approached him that's why he was sacked 😉

Bet he’s glad he listened to those chancers we have representing our club on the pitch!

fantastic just what you want we the club are suppose to be celebrating 125 years, starting to think the players are not listening to the manager(s) and doing what they want on the pitch.

If this really is true then we are going to be an even bigger laughing stock then we already are (if that was even possible). Let’s not kid ourselves, yes from a financial point of view the board have been incredible in terms of allowing managers to bring players in etc… but we are run by a bunch of absolute amateurs who have absolutely no idea about running a football club let alone an EFL one and we shouldn’t allow the money they’ve put in to cloud judgement in terms of that! The ‘R’ word which is the sole thing to blame for this current shit show is down to them and them alone and even if they allowed Gallagher to bring in who he wanted then why the bloody hell did they then sack him and leave the next person in line to inherit it with no scope to bring in who he wanted? Then turn round and blame the fact that the squad is more than good enough to stay in this league. Who within the club that is running it even knows enough about football to be able to make that statement. Yes they are supporters like the rest of us but that’s it! The whole thing is a [SwearFilter] circus but even one that Billy Smart would avoid if he had sense! Who next then, personally I can’t see anyone desperate and out of work wanting to touch it at this point. They could do worse than get Craig Rutherford involved in some kind of coaching capacity but who hell is going to motivate this bunch of absolute wasters, I have no idea!

Which one of the team is the shop steward. You wonder what someone like Sam Foley is thinking ? Watched him do a really good warm up at half time never came on and other subs didn’t seem arsed

Why do certain people keep mentioning Craig Rutherford? Coz he talks a good game on the radio? Whats he done in football to deserve the chance to be involved. We need experience not someone just coz hes a local and talks a good game. Easy to do when theres no pressure

It would have to be someone already within the club - Worral, Foley or Canavan to take over until end of season. We won't make another outside appointment I'm pretty sure

It'll be Worrall until the end of season I reckon.

Maybe they are going to try and get ten new manager bounces and reach the playoffs

Mark Johnson wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2026 5:28 pm I agree - would have been better sticking with Whing

But he would have been the fall person at the end of the season - and ultimately blame would have been put on him. At least now it's clear where the issues are

I think the club owe Whing an apology personally.. He obviously wasn't the problem.
I have no doubt he’s a nice bloke but he’s lost every game (5 I think) since he took over at Brackley .
Under normal circumstances I wasn’t going to post on this forum ever again but these are not normal circumstances. I’d seriously consider Foley, Canavan and Worrall taking over. What is there to lose?
