Feel bad for Dino, seemed likeable enough despite the results. I suppose it can’t get any worse (shush Mick McCarthy…), good luck to Sam but you can’t help but feel even Sir Alex Ferguson would struggle with this squad.

I witnessed the dire performance last night, one of the worst I can remember.
I'm not sure whether Maamria was sacked or walked. If anyone knows, please enlighten me.
Everything is so crazy at the moment I just wonder if the players deliberately didn't play for him last night, and had had enough of him, and that this departure was on the cards whatever.
If there's any accuracy in that, understandable that he'd walk. Equally understandable that he'd get the sack.
Whatever the reality, in general terms, we are witnessing something unique.

This really is unbelievable - we’re becoming an absolute clown car of a club. Should have stuck with McDonald when Whing left - a bit of calm experience, if not necessarily a longer term fix - but, instead, we went with someone with very little suitable managerial experience. Then we take a decent punt on a proven ‘escape artist’ which hasn’t worked out either. All we can hope for now is that Foley’s personal connection to the players - combined with two teams being poorer than we are - give us just enough. Then we need some serious reflection in the summer.

Foley in the chair should at least get the players to resemble something like a football team.

If they won’t play for him then it’s bye bye EFL.

Might be dramatic but if we do go down and go out of business, I’d welcome
a phoenix club in North West counties 2.

Be more of a craic and prolly enjoy the experience more!

Get rid of the lot and start again.

Unbelievable guess we wanted the record for number of managers in a season. Will this be the last in this shlt show of a season?

These players have seen off manager after manager. If they suddenly start playing for Sam foley and keep us up I,d still sack the lot of em at the end of the season starting with Canavan disgrace of a captain for letting his team behave like that.

Could see this coming a mile off and seems to be the real reason for the announcement of the Friday 13th meeting.

Well Foley is no more experienced than Gallagher, if anything considerably less so, but who with a track record would manage Barrow after the last few months. And there aren't two teams poorer than us. So we're screwed.

Absolutely correct of course - Foley has zero experience in the dug out - but it’s a straw we must clutch nonetheless!
