And the bottom 2 we will stay. Much better today but not good enough to fight our way out of this

I’m not going to hammer them today, played well and created enough chances to win the game. Was a good tonic after that Bristol Rovers debacle.

It was nice just to see the fundamentals, worked hard, fought, had a go at them.

At least the lads fought but that alone is not enough.

Thought the ref wasn’t good. Defender had their arms around Walker in the box, nothing given, same thing a few minutes later and it’s a free kick, then near the end he should have let it play on, but pullled the ball back for a foul. Much better today, but it seems like that’s our best , which isn’t good enough for this league.

Really poor game. Lots of bouncing balls and referee whistles

Tyler Walker is the least dangerous striker I have ever seen. More chance of the slag bank scoring.

Earing good. Looked up for it.

Strange not to see Barkhuizen play. Especially when playing a formation that would suit him.

Shipley plays with iron shoulder pads on

If Newport never won we all walk away happy with today. Miles better effort and miles better feeling around the spot. Makes you think how much different the season could have been playing a back 4 all season

Thought they all played well today Jackson Mccann and Earing stood out Thought Tyler Walker had good movement and laid off some good balls, our final ball is just not good enough though, Josh Gordon sorry just doesn't do it for me!
Why the referee didn't play on is baffling!
But when your lucks out that's the way it goes!
