That was the chance today and we didn't take it.

We'll need something next Saturday but not sure we have much hope of that I fear we will have likely been relegated by this time next week.

What I am fed up with is these people who keep saying "if we go down thats it, we will never come back up for years".
I'm of the opinion that as long as this board is there and the correct decisions are taken (as opposed to all the wrong decisions made this season) there is no reason why we shouldn't be in the promotion mix.
It's not as if we're potless, or the board, or an owner has walked out leaving us in sh!t street like has happened at some other clubs.
I know its hard but let's start having some positivity for the future.

Let me correct that. He was shouting his frustration at a decision that didn’t go his way. It wasn’t a “toys out the pram” rant, it was a shout of frustration that he didn’t get the decision to win even a throw in. Point being- There is no show of passion like that from any one in our side. Nothing. No leadership. The midfield floated through that game with no assertion at all. At the end, we don’t look shell shocked at what’s happened, we go around back slapping the opposition. No one on their haunches thinking about a missed opportunity and reflecting on what is now almost certain relegation. We did not enough to win a game of football. There’s no one out there today that throws themselves at a ball into the box, no one brave enough to attack a cross.

The future starts with the next two games. Like many others I can't see us getting much at Cambridge, but it could still be in our own hands on the last day of the season.

If it depends on that I think we'll do it!

I wouldn’t say it will be a long time necessarily but bigger clubs than us have gone down and taken years to come back up. Stockport, Wrexham and chesterfield and Notts County more recently. Even Carlisle with their fan base and backing aren’t necessarily going to come straight back up.

If we do go down which we probably will now, we need to make sure we get the right management and players in and are putting in decent performances and getting results, else crowds will drop even lower and interest will dwindle. People want to see a winning team and we will get higher gates in the national league than we are currently with a team serving up poor football and results as we are currently.

If though we’re not careful we could become another morecambe, Scunthorpe. Back to back relegations it’s happened to Carlisle albeit from league 1. The whole club needs a reset and change off the pitch as much as on it. That’s regardless of whether we stay up ur not which going by today would be an absolute miracle and almost a injustice.

Yes I have and although frowned upon.. it shows desire..
We've seen it time and again with opposition but we just don't.. is it right? Is it wrong? I would rather see a collective fight..

Every team we come up against does this, it doesn't always change a decision but from a fan perspective, it shows they give a shit.

I've always been a "kick one of us, you kick us all" kinda person, we've seen it in the past with decent teams but this team, it's like they couldn't care less.. like I say, we are hurting, disappointed, but the facts are there and clearly to see... Apart from the odd game, they just don't look like they care!

They had an opportunity today, decent crowd, great gesture by club BUT they didn't take the opportunity to show some real grit and determination..

As blue Nige said (I'm sure it was him) we just don't have a real leader who is prepared to stand up and be counted!

Oh wow. Retracted? I’ve never known that happen. Ever.

We had the momentum before that. After it, only one team wanted to win the game.

The way the keeper acted, it was like he heard something. It was reported to the referee, who reported it to the fourth official.

I sit in the main stand, so nowhere near the Holker Street end, where the accusation was made.

If something was shouted loud enough, for the keeper to hear, I’d imagine almost everyone in that section of the crowd would’ve heard it too.

It’s mentioned on the barrow FB group by a few people, a kid said something that was miss heard, plenty of people stood around heard nothing in the nature of discrimination. I think the clubs would have made an announcement by now if it had been upheld and confirmed.

Maybe a kid was trying to get the Zigger chant going. That’s an obvious one to mishear, as it’s not a common word at all. Means a lot to us, nothing to anyone else.

Some of these players will stay in league 2 like it or not. Player power will mean the club will get rid of them for peanuts just to get rid of them. I wudnt mind them all going to be honest. Most of them have stole a wage over the season. Its got to the point in our group where we are praising players just for putting a bit of effort it. Wtf. Like i said i will be round at that tunnel wen the last game finishes and these cunts are getting it. Just a shame that snake Ian Wood will slip away instead of walking down the tunnel
