Maybe AI will be the new manager? Well, he has already stated he's quitting Bournemouth at the end of the season . . .

If the next statement is about Wood leaving (fingers crossed) then I want to know why the board were stroking him off at the recent Crossbar meeting when most in the room seemed to share the opinion that he was at the centre of the problems. I personally think he started our downfall with being part of the Pete Wild situation.

Agreed.

Wood didn't seem to be at the match today.

The last 18 motnhs whilst Wood was here it has been pretty dire. Sounds like he has paid the price for the failings.
We must however not forget who was responsible for bringing Pete Wild to the club and giving us our two best seasons out of the six we had in the EFL and up until the Chelsea defeat it did look that in Clemence he had found a good replacement.

I thought I saw Wood lurking in the Steve Vaughan Stand tunnel at half-time but there are many fat neckbeards around the club, so cannot confirm.

I don't think he was there, or will be again FWIW The neckbeards were Welsh I think.

Harvey “head of recruitment” must go too. You live and die by your recruitment. Goodbye

This season defined us as a club. It’s been harsh lessons to learn along the way but ultimately we have come up short and lessons need to be learnt and accountability has to start with our CEO who has to be the first name of any lists. Out of his depth sadly and I have no axe to grind personally as he’s a decent person all said and done.

I don't think we were ready to be a league club and were always playing catch up, the board admitted this at the last meeting!
We had 6 seasons to get it right, other sides seemed to
Manage it but we were spending a lot on players and
Changing the manager at regular intervals didn’t help

It is what it is - can’t live in the past but for the club to grow it needs to be more sustainable off the pitch and the right people in the right positions on and off the pitch.
You mean like Harrogate??? ,I think the board know that now, didn't see you moaning when wild was Manager easy to criticise when it goes wrong!

Harrogate have gone down with us but Bromley seemed to have done ok since coming up. Anyway it’s all pointless now we are down but for the record I moaned a few times when Wild was manager because he used the same excuses that the people of Barrow and Barrow fans have used for years for not having nice things.

The only time we have truely been successful has been when we’ve had the swagger and the attitude that we are as good as anyone else.

Can’t argue with any of that Charlie. We have proved one thing ultimately and that is we are incompetent in surviving as an EFL club. We have to move on and learn some valuable lessons before we become the next Morecambe god forbid.🥺

Surely as a board member Iain Wood should of been included in that statement.
