Players leaving other clubs.

Post by Pedro » Sat Jun 06, 2026 11:23 pm

I noticed Jack Nolan has decided not to stay with Morecambe.
I wonder if he could be on his way here.
When you read comments on FB the fans say how good he was but to good for the new league they are in.

Would definitely take him. 19 goals and 8 assists in a very poor Morecambe side. Numbers our forwards and wingers could only dream of.

I would imagine plenty of clubs will be after him; sure we will try but very likely to receive better offers elsewhere

Nolan would be class but surely going higher.

Chris Popov who we had on loan a season or 2 back also impressed for Morecambe & just been released by Leicester might not be a bad shout.

GF but signed for Hartlepool.
Popular side since '03.

Okoronkwo (striker) and Romain Dixon (RB) are released by Everton. I think these are both a lot better than we have had recently.

Judging from Kouyate id quite like us to steer clear of Everton’s cast offs for the time being thanks

Kouyate wasn't treated well at our club. He was absolutely ripped apart in front of the Pop Side by one of the experienced defenders (I want to say McDonald?) who was putting in a useless performance himself. His confidence was shattered that day even though he was giving his all.

So what’s the excuse for a failed loan at Spennymoor which they cut short - and another failed loan in the northern premier league at Warrington which again was cut short by the loaning club

He’s just not very good - don’t fault his effort but he had zero end product

I couldn’t agree more. Flattered to deceive at first but once sides had watched him they nullified his threat with ease and he never developed a plan B.

Completely agree. Nowhere near good enough.
