We either win this game or lose, I don’t think from everything Murray has said in his interviews and the way we are shaping up I think we won’t see many draws this, I do feel the players already have that fire to get at it let’s just hope it continues to grow as quick as it’s started one thing for sure regardless where we end up this season I think we will have a hell of a lot more happy days to cheer about than last season, I do genuinely believe we will make the playoffs but if we miss out on other teams just being totally unplayable and running away with the league I’d take a narrow playoff miss, retaining the core of the squad and really going for it again next season.

Regardless of what happens these players and manager clearly have so much more about them than last season we have to get behind the lads for the whole journey not just when things are going well, the whole squad manager and staff included are all ambitious and all hungry to progress their careers, one thing I diddnt hear a single player mention last season so let’s get behind the bluebirds and enjoy this season for everything it’s worth!💙

We’ve had a good pre-season - not just in terms of results - and look really fired up to go for it this time out. Hoping we sneak the win of course, but going for a competitive game and a 1-1 draw at the end of it.

Last year was abysmal .
We are celebrating our anniversary in a lower league due to our capitulation

Do not go gentle into that good night- Dylan Thomas.( Should be read to them before they go.onto the pitch)

We want a win, we can bully our way to it.

First truly competitive game.
No idea what the team will be but I'd take a point as we continue to evolve.
But I'd prefer a sneaky win 😁

Press on that - go to the Watch & Listen menu then press on Hartlepool v Barrow on BBC Radio Cumbria

The link goes live from 2pm

Don’t confuse this with BBC Sounds - if you try to listen. Via that you will get Carlisle v Worthing
La lucha continua...

2-1 defeat - Reid to score. Harris no doubt will for them and Nolan. Long season ahead today won’t define it. Next 8/9 and we’ll see where we are.

Cautiously optimistic.
