Get Kouyate & Barkhuizen back in the team could take us too the next level, what`s the point in both running down their contracts.

Isn’t it the assistant manager?

Looks like Barkhuzen
More Barky than Andy Taylor but I am not conviced it is either.

Barkhuizen could be useful but Kouyate would take us down a level not up a level!

A fit and motivated Barkhuizen would be an asset and it looks unlikely now that anyone else will take him. Is it too far gone for him to come back and be involved? Not sure exactly what happened end of last season but by all accounts there was a fall out.
Kouyate has never been a footballer.

Does make you wonder how Everton ever scouted him.

And the Club gave him a 3 year contract until June 2027 never kicked a ball for us last Season another great appointment by the recruitment team.

Having watched some of Adam’s interview with Adam Murray done yesterday Murray’s openly admits still having players still on the books that have no future with us is hindering recruitment. I guess he means Barkhuizen, Earing and Kouyate

The 1 year option on Earings contract was taken up by the Club can someone explain the reason behind it, at least the vast majority of this seasons contracts are till June 2027.
