Walker looks like he’s won a competition to get on the pitch absolutely pish. Benjamin an absolute bomb scare get him gone. Same old [SwearFilter]
I think we were all underwhelmed by a lot of the signings and there were a few questions. Aggression, commitment and in your face can at least make up for a lack of skill at times but where has that been today!? Awful here. No quality or creativity but we knew that before. The same midfield that failed last season is failing again, upfront we’ve got nothing and at the back we look shaky. I get it was always going to take time but we need a hell of a lot more than this. Fans will soon drop off again which we can’t afford and the basics aren’t there today which is worse than anything. Desperately short of 2/3 players still at least.
Scary some of the footballing decisions we’ve made the past few years. We were spoilt with gotts, Spence and Campbell. All 3 could get it down and play. It’s not smith/williams fault they aren’t creative, they never have been. It’s a problem we’ve never addressed and it’s constantly biting us on the arse

We were lucky with that pen

Get Quigley back from the USA.

Penalty aside we were never scoring but we should be pushing now to equalise, and we’re not we look just as bad as before. Flat performance and a flat crowd.
Worrying signs already.

Oh the days of Gotts, Spence and Campbell even Tom White seem a long long time ago now :( wonder how much further we can fall…

Benjamin is an absolute liability

Don’t want to see Benjamin on the teamsheet again this season. Absolute sh*te.

I thought our identity was supposed to be fast, strong, direct. We look laboured

On this performance- This side is nowhere near it.

Where is the intensity, the high press?

First home game of the season and it’s not good enough.

Pre-season optimism gone.
