They need to be reintegrated into the squad.
Kouyate came on yesterday and I thought he was also on the 'not wanted' list?
Barkhuizen was the poison in the squad last season so it would be more than a little surprising if that was to happen. The football world talks hence why there has been little or no interest in him
Can you enlighten me with some examples of this 'poison' ?
It will be an opportunity for Murray to show he can manage players with different characteristics not just yes men.

How bad is barkhuizen as a person if he’s the one taking all the flak from last years collection of weasels?

I’ve calmed down a bit from last night. We’ll be a better team with harper and earring in the middle, at least they can get it forward and play a bit. Whitfield has to start on the wing and Innes needs someone off him. Digie and kalambayi will be a solid pairing once they get going. Happy with the keeper, krankshaw looked okay at times. Give it ten games and we’ll see where we’re at

For all the slating Kouyate has got in the past, he got a great cross over around the 80th minute that should have led to an equaliser if only Rose could have sorted his feet out.
Like others have said, see where we are after 10 games or so. Even Evatt didn't work wonders at the start. We do need that 4th striker though. Preferably a quick one to play off Cameron.

We sign a forward and Reid typically gets injured was it in those 12 minutes last week or another injury in training, Murray said having scan but doesn`t look to good, another tough test against Harrogate who are scoring for fun and must be looking forward to testing our defence.

I heard it said on more than one occasion he was running the club down to others and this got back to the owners
I distinctly remember him saying in one interview that it’s been difficult and the fans don’t know the circumstances at the club that make it difficult.

I’d add Harper, Earing, Smith, Jackson and Cameron to the list that should go. Only Marriot impresses me when he came on yesterday
As for PK he can defend but his ball control and passing was way of what’s required imo

Murray said Reid never started at Hartlepool last week due to the foot injury that they hoped would clear up, it hasn’t hence the scan on Thursday that came back with bad news

A much better interview on the BBC Sounds site with Adam. Some echoes in that of the sort of criticisms that Maarmria made?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0p4rrbp

Murray is right about the fear factor. We, as spectators, probably all felt after that wonder goal "oh dear, here we go again" and that must transmit to the players. There was no rallying cry from the leaders (if there are any) on the pitch or from the terraces. Even after our penalty goal, there was not feeling of a fight back, or of Hornchurch having to survive an onslaught.

It may not be important but I do wonder why we don't choose to play towards the Holker Street end in the second half when we win the toss?
Do they still toss a coin? Either way we seem to choose not to take that option.
You don't see Liverpool choosing to attack the Anfield Road end in the second half or United the South Stand.
I'm also fed up of seeing away teams scoring at the Holker Street end in the second half and then celebrating with their supporters. At least if they scored at the Crossbar end they'd have a long way to run to celebrate. lol

Did he say things like " half the training equipment is broken" something PH was only made aware of after the season ended?

Was he actually poison or as a professional who’s played at a high level, merely pointing out the many failings and everything that was wrong with the club. He came across quite well in interviews.
Maybe he questioned the numerous failed managers and why we ended up giving it to a player with no managerial experience in the end who was part of the team? If Kouyate is getting games over him then we’re done.

Don't criticise the fans at every opportunity we tried to get behind the team ,but when you're watching no intensity player's not moving to receive the ball just what do you expect, it was the manager who promised, a fortress, high intensity etc etc not the fans, so who's to blame the fans ? or the person who likes to talk and talk and talk ............

Talk and talk and talk is correct. It would be interesting to know if Adam has conducted a 12 minute interview before and asked so few questions. Murray barely stopped for breath. As the saying goes though “ talk is cheap” it’s performances and results that he gets paid to get the team to produce and it needs to happen asap

Similar to the last home game v Newport, we battered them for the first 20 minutes and then just lost the thread. In the end Hornchurch deserved to win. Great strike for the first goal, though it came after a dreadful pass giving them possession.

Don't know what the ref thought he saw for the penalty. Definitely the softest one I've ever seen us get.

IMO Murray is right, the club stinks of failure, but and its a big but, hes partly to blame. As a club and a manager they/he should have made it abundantly clear that we didnt want to keep any of those players from last year. At a push id have tried to keep MJ. The rest should have gone or been told they arent wanted!! clean slate across the board.

The way our club is, I'm beginning to wonder if the "bad apples" are actually the ones speaking truth around the place and the charlatans are continually throwing them under the bus.
Interesting comment.
