It was important we took something from that game to try and build some momentum going in to Monday and beyond that.
Very deflating for the supporters and team alike.

Too many just switch off at crucial times. Echoes of last season in that though.

It’s just a man for man fight all over the pitch and if one of our players loses their duel the whole thing falls apart. If you can’t out run, jump and fight your man your no use to this team. E.g Whitfield and most of last seasons players. Players will drop like flies and won’t be able to last ( probably M.J) no wonder Murray used so many players last season. I thought tonight we really battled well, really poor goal to concede at the end. Going forward when everything’s a fight, we need to remember to put our foot on the ball and take a bit of care with our passing,

There's positives to take from tonight definitely. Reid looks good, pity about the two guys out wide who were meant to be supplying him.
The defence looked ok for an hour but wilted as the game wore on.
How Harper didn't make it in league football becomes clearer by the game.
As for set-pieces..we're absolutely clueless. If (and I don't know if we have or we haven't) we've got a set-piece coach then he's got to go. If we haven't then the manager needs to sort this out asap.

Murray looks completely out of ideas in his interview with the club there was a moment after the final whistle blew where i looked over at him and he had his head in his hands

Honestly can’t see how we lost that tonight Yeovil were there for the taking in the first half easily could of had 2 or 3 in but no still no confidence in the final third

Barrow are next to bottom of the league tonight with one point from four games. It could have been so different had we taken our chances in a dominant first half or had we managed the game better after Ward’s superb strike in the 75th minute finally gained us the lead.

Sadly we eventually paid for our missed chances with an unlikely two late goals for Yeovil- one from a controversial 87th minute penalty and another from a dubious but poorly defended free kick in the fourth minute of added time.

In the first minute, Harper headed wide from a Walker cross. Five minutes later, an Amos header from a corner was blocked and another Wakler cross was headed wide by Reid in the 9th. In the 13th minute a Harper shot was saved by Barker.

Four minutes later, Yeovil had their first chance when Jones shot across the goal.

However, we were still in the ascendancy and were frustrating the visitors, Jones being booked in the 21st minute for a foul on Smith. Another foul on Walker two minutes later led to a Marriott free kick saved by Barker.

Barrow’s crosses and corners were not finding the killer touch and when we did manage a shot on target, Barker saved confidently. Walker, Harper, Marriott and Reid were creating half-chances but Yeovil protected the box well.

Our best chance was a 37th minute Harper free kick near the edge of the area which went wide

A minute later, keeper Barker was penalised for holding onto the ball too long, but Barrow’s resultant corner under the new rule saw a Walker shot blocked for another corner from which Digie’s header was saved.

In the 40th minute, Reid was fouled as he advanced on goal and many of the crowd thought Mukena’s yellow card should have been a red. Marriott’s free kick was blocked and then a third Yeovil yellow card was awarded to McCormick for arguing.

Well over a dozen decent chances for Barrow compared to Yeovil’s one or two but the score was still 0-0 at half-time

Yeovil made a triple change at half-time, Daly, Obeng and Gubbins coming on for Mukena, Lennon and Jones.

The second half was a more even end-to-end affair. Two minutes in, Smith received our first booking then Winterbottom saved from a McGavin corner.

Once again, a 52nd minute cross from a good break down the left by Reid found no Bluebird to convert.

Yeovil looked more incisive by this stage, Daly heading wide of the left post in the 54th minute.

Whitfield then came on for Walker, while the visitors replaced their Walker with Spasov.

On the hour, Winterbottom punched a sharp shot from Davies away for a corner. From this a McGavin shot was blocked, then Westbrooke blasted over the bar.

In the 69th minute, Westbrooke blasted over again from a dangerous position following a blocked shot from Daly, another warning for Barrow.

In the 72nd minute, we replaced Latty-Fairweather and Harper with Ward and Jackson. This had almost immediate impact as following a 75th minute Amos corner, Yeovil thought they had scrambled it away for the ball to fall to Ward outside the penalty area. He unleashed a sublime shot which came down off the underside of the bar over the line from 1-0. This spark had been missing all game.

Barker did well to save another Ward shot in the 81st minute and it looked like we would put the game to bed with this refreshed positivity.

Unfortunately, Barrow’s bubble was soon to burst. In the 85th minute, Yeovil replaced Westbrooke with Powell. A minute later a close-range shot into the area resulted in the referee pointing to the spot to the disbelief of fans. It was difficult to work out in that instant whether it was a close-range handball or an adjudged foul in the box. However, McCormick stroke his spot kick into the right corner for the equaliser.

This was a sickener to the shellshocked Barrow team and fans, but worse was to come. In the first minute of time added Ward had another good shot saved. Two minutes later, Powell was adjudged to have been fouled 20 yards out, the crowd incredulous to see yet another controversial late decision go against Barrow. McGavin’s free kick was then headed in by an unmarked Gubbins from the left side of the area for 1-2.

Football is a cruel game, and with six minutes of added time played, Barker tipped over a point blank Barrow effort for a corner. Too little, too late, but credit to Yeovil for good defending throughout which further blunted our ability to score. The effort and teamwork is there and Ward again looks a promising signing. Let's hope for better luck at Kidderminster on Monday.

Make no mistake, crowds will start dwindling from this point. Feeling deflated leaving Holker street is now becoming too much for some folk.

The penalty was for the foul and sadly there’s no complaints it was a blatant penalty

Last year it was all Stanway fault.
Well he has gone and it's still happening.

We are suffering from the result of last seasons recruitment.
Harper not up to it,Cameron gives a 100% but not up to it.
Weve been missing a midfielder and striker sorry for this since Rooney and Quigley.

Obviously we are short of cash with the changes that have happened at the club.

Last season was a fool and their money is easily parted.

Let's hope Murray can turn it around to avoid another relegation.
The fans are doing their part it's up to the players now.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing l know but we should have parked the bus at 1-0. We competed very well first half and had plenty of energy and drive. However, second half Yodel mounted wave after wave of attacks and got the breaks as our back line struggled with too many jogging around in midfield.

So Semper Sursum and all that and here's my team talk for Monday:
1. Take the chance when the shot on goal is on
2. Don't do dumb stuff
3. Er, that's it!
