Thats exactly why they said it. They did drop off second half and im as frustrated as anyone but some of the comments on here are as ridiculous as evermall wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2026 5:11 pm"Kidderminster commentators were saying they glad they playing us now because they think Barrow will do well this season".barrow1987 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2026 5:08 pm Us at start of season: Got to give manager time, its not going to happen over night
Us now after 5 games and still in 1st months of season: It's all over, 100% getting relegated
Its not been great but bore off with it. Even Kidderminster commentators were saying they glad they playing us now because they think Barrow will do well this season
Well they cant have been saying that on the basis of looking at the Barrow players today!
Re: Kidderminster harriers v Barrow match thread

Genuinely think we are a couple of players (albeit it key players) away from a comfortably mid-table side. Really need to start being more clinical, but if we do can see us stringing a few wins in a row together

I'll support Barrow whatever league we're in but some of these players are bang average at best, hand on heart just what do you see that's going to make this team get into the play-offs?barrow1987 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2026 5:14 pmThats exactly why they said it. Yes energy levels are fairly good but where's the quality etc ? I look.at the squad and I can't honestly see how it's going to change?

I dont expect anyone to believe we are going to be anywhere near promotion this season. Im calling out the ones calling for murrays head and saying its obvious we are getting relegated. Just nonsense talk this early into the seasonblue nige wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2026 5:24 pmI'll support Barrow whatever league we're in but some of these players are bang average at best, hand on heart just what do you see that's going to make this team get into the play-offs?barrow1987 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2026 5:14 pm

2 points from 15 says it all really we just need that first win to give them a confidence boost hopefully, if we sit in bottom 4 after 10 games alarm bells should ring righly so we dont want to do a morecambe and end up in conf north like we spent so many of our years at that level

To be fair, Murray doesn't help matters, I know he's got to be positive but he's constantly pushing the narrative about us getting better he's just had to sub a sub some of these players aren't physical enough!barrow1987 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2026 5:27 pmI dont expect anyone to believe we are going to be anywhere near promotion this season. On the basis of the last five games we'll do well to at best beat the teams around us, along with the odd freak result maybe!-but thats it.Olderbarrowfan79+ wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2026 5:30 pm 2 points from 15 says it all really we just need that first win to give them a confidence boost hopefully, if we sit in bottom 4 after 10 games alarm bells should ring righly so we dont want to do a morecambe and end up in conf north like we spent so many of our years at that level

Hands up from me- I thought we were going to push for top 7, but not on that showing. 2 points from 5 is a poor start. That today was a poor game of football. Subs had little impact.

The box entries and different stages of build on the post match bingo card again. Same style of play, same interviews and same results. Is it madness doing the same things over and over and expecting different results?
