Whether he said that or not if you owned a company and a well paid employee was speaking disparagingly about it behind your back and it was relayed to you by another individual I doubt you would be best pleased either,WalneyOne wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 12:23 pmSpoke disparagingly as in saying it was a car crash?Main Stand SeasonTct wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 12:21 pm
I’m led to believe he spoke disparagingly about the club last season and this got back to the directors who were very unhappy about it hence he was frozen out towards the end of last season and this season too.

Perhaps the said individual should have realised it himself, or asked employee on what basis comments were made.Main Stand SeasonTct wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 12:31 pmWhether he said that or not if you owned a company and a well paid employee was speaking disparagingly about it behind your back and it was relayed to you by another individual I doubt you would be best pleased either,
Murray has also described the relegation as a car crash.
Re: Barkhuizen
Yes, but its probably equally true that if Murray had said he wanted him in the squad then the club would have agreed, new manager, new start and all that.
Re: Barkhuizen
IMO Murray is making it increasingly clear he doesn't want last seasons players so he wouldn't have turned down one handed to him on a plate.

Re: Barkhuizen
He is slowly but surely managing last seasons players out of the club. Having just listened to AJ interview him today for Radio Cumbria and when AJ asked about Whitfield his frustration with Whitfield not performing in games like he does in training was clear to hear.
