This is all really great but this side has lost half its games and only won 1 from 8 attempts. In terms of keeping things positive this isn’t the route to take

Its this fickle, rose tinted, happy clapping attitude that allowed the club to sleepwalk into relegation last season and unless reality hits it might see the club sleepwalk down into the league below.

Last season was shite, this season has also been shite. Nothing has broken the ennui of following this club.

The truth needs to be said. Its wretched on the pitch and off it, it’s not much better
If you can't see even the slightest of improvements then you really must be desperate to see the club fail..

There is improvement, it's not massive as the points don't show that but there is definately improvement.

We can all focus on the doom and gloom continuously or we can change our outlook and all start to focus on what we are improving on.

On effort, we should be tip if the league.

The pretty stuff can wait for now, it's all about getting points in the board and reality is, it's a long season and yes, 8 games in but still a long long way to go! If by end of November we are still struggling, then yeh. I might be worried as you but now, the progress is clear and compared to the quitters last season, this lot are a breath of fresh air

At least they are giving it a go!
Sorry Im not reading all that nonsense.

In terms of improvement, last season Barrow ended up with a win every 5.11 games

This season in a lower league its 1 every 8 games.

This is after the club got rid of the DOF model and all the players that made us suffer through such a poor season.

Just trying to raise the positivity a tad..
Wins and performances are what raise positivity of which we have had very little of in the last 18 months and this season has seen a continuation,
Fans opinions on Forums always reflect how good or bad a team is doing that’s the nature of forums
I do get that.. but this forum has got into a rut!

It used to a be a place of optimism, positivity and despite where we were all those years ago, we still stood together.
Football has it's ups n downs..wether premier league or Sunday league
Fact is, unless we all change the mentality, the place will become rotten to the core.

It just reflects the club imo and the only way to change it is to get results starting tomorrow.

Respect your view. The forum is no different in debate and discussion than what it ever has been, yourself included. As someone said, only a handful post on here, and many more will vote with their feet if they are not happy, whilst many voicing concern on here, will still go to the game. Everyone has their own views and all are valid. No one would talk like this (what you call negativity) if they didn’t care. We all love the club and want the best for it, although it might not seem that way at the moment.

"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

It’s not just us. Virtually every club’s forum is the same. Full of negativity and pages and pages after defeats but much less after a win. The forums are in the main a way of venting frustration.

Sorry but I don't see any improvement.
Farmer Murray and his agricultural football are imo putting us at real risk of back to back relegations.
He's got rid of anyone remotely resembling a footballer in favour of cloggers , foulers and hoofers.
Thug as a player, wants thugs as a manager and too thick to see it isn't working.
Signed ( mostly) shit players with limited technical ability, shit tactics ( if any) but blames everyone else..

We had success
Most of us had only ever known Barrow as a non league club; we had a real chance to become an established league two club and this last season we completely [SwearFilter] it up. It’s no wonder folk are frustrated!

No question if frustration at all, we all waited half a lifetime for EFL and we made a mess if it and yes, we are angry, upset, frustrated but the show must go on and unity throughout the entire club from the top right through to the support, at the minute it just feels like people learn for the disaster rather than the success.

We definately can not afford to have a season with it's epic merry go round of managers like we did last year..a complete laughing stock.

Murray didn't set the world alight instantly in his previous position but he was given the time and he did do a good job.

The football isn't great I know, Solihull was [SwearFilter] poor especially but the effort, commitment and desire to keep going is a good foundation to build from and it would be refreshing to take a pragmatic approach and say yeh, not brill at all but we are heading in the right direction and take the highs and lows better than we currently do.

We don't all see eye to eye I know that but ultimately we all want the same thing and that's a winning team.

Be nice to see the forum and the ground having a buzz and optimism again.
