Step up harper again great finish from
A cutback by Oakley who did really well and has really grown after a shaky start. Have to say it’s deserved too but just a few minutes after Scunthorpe almost took the lead and would have but for a ridiculous save by Winterbottom. Bit between our teeth now and going again. Thompson has been a real threat.
And Reid now doubles it he deserves that we pressed high pressured Scunthorpe and again Oakley involved just before that when his cross went across goal. Thompsons shot saved Reid on the rebound and our fitness here is really showing they look done now Scunthorpe.

Excellent goal on the counter and how good again to see us still going for it and not sitting back attack is the best form of defence. Full credit two weeks after Solihull I thought we were in trouble, huge turnaround since then and all without our old captain…

Big, strong but we’ve got the ball wide and got it into the box and caused them problems all night. They’re not a bad side but other they’ve had a couple of moments and Winterbottom has made a couple of big saves but we’ve been too good at the other end. Hard to pick anyone out for MOM but Harper, Thompson and Oakley were stand outs for me.
Mooney and Allen aren’t bad subs to have either with their quality and pace.

Very very good result and probably best overall performance I’ve seen in a couple of years really.
