Also the last game Farman played for the Club.Bakewell Blue wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2026 11:42 amThat team performance at Port Vale was epic, with Paul Farman having the game of the season. Oh for such days …Scott5 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2026 8:57 am I think he got some unfair stick at times.
There was certainly worse players than him last season. I think he was also partly a victim of circumstances he came in started really well, good crossing and popped up with the odd goal but after Chelsea away and the decline began, like the rest of the team he struggled. Remember him scoring away at port vale when we got battered second half but defended heroically and won 1-0, but last season he was nowhere near it. There’s a player there wasn’t aware of his issues I know he had a baby not so long ago too. I don’t think he ever lacked effort and for that reason I wouldn’t be too harsh and hopefully he can find himself again.

Re: Ben Jackson
He’s not a good player/defender. He scored a couple of nice goals but never once thought bloody hell Jackson was good today. The goals he scored makes the idea of Ben Jackson better than actual Ben JacksonBakewell Blue wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2026 11:40 am I think he is a good player (as he showed in spells) and I don’t think he was one of those who didn’t care about the club. I think he was probably a victim of the chaotic management of the club over the last two seasons and I wouldn’t be surprised if he comes good in a new environment (just a shame it can’t be with us, as Rakeen H has done). Good luck Ben.
Re: Ben Jackson
He had a good first season as an attacking full back/wing back and was the player with most assists. Perhaps his playing style and/or temperament doesn't suit the new Barrow, but I am sure he has the ability to be a success at National league level, if not higher.Big_Bluebird wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2026 12:06 pmHe’s not a good player/defender. If I’m not wrong was also Kian Spences last game for us as he got crocked that night by a terrible tackle for which we never even got a free kick…

Re: Ben Jackson
His attributes are more suited to attacking play.
