For me never mind the extra cash we can get that by proceeding in the FA cup.
When we play home or away you can hear the Barrow fans which spurs the team on.
If we fill the ground with Carlisle fans the team will feel intimidated by the noise drowning out Barrow fans.
The marras will go out of their way to do so.

I think carlisle would sell 2k no problem dont see the issue giving up holker end its more revenue for the club also we will get maybe 3500 home fans max at a guess anyways so might aswell give them more

Carlisle can ask or more Barrow could say yes ok but I suspect Cumbria Constabulary will have the final say and would say no.

It isn’t possible to do.
The logistics make it impossible.

It’s not as simple as just give them the stand and crack on.

The entry and exit from the ground would need looking into - the entrance to the pop side is round the back by the garage but the entrance and exit from the HSE is also at the corner by the garage so you’d have supporters overlapping it would be chaos

The fact you would also then have to have the side the part between the pop side and the HSE would have to be closed as you would need a no man’s land between the home and away supporters so it would reduce the home support

And then the extra policing that would be required would pretty much wipe out the extra money you’d get in

Some are saying give it up to Carlisle. If we cant sell out for this game then when can we?
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

Regardless what people say - it isn’t possible as you’d need to close entry and exit points which then put health and safety into play

Adam I think you are making a good point about why we need this new stadium that the clubs, council and Team Barrow are all talking about. As you intimate we are losing serious money because we can't accommodate a big away following. What if we drew Liverpool at home in the FA Cup? Switch to Anfield? That would really put the foot among the pigeons!
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...
