Deasy or Tomlinson?
Who do you prefer in nets?
Re: Deasy or Tomlinson?
Deasy by far.

Deasy
Re: Deasy or Tomlinson?
It's the same situation as last season, almost. We've got two very good keepers, who could probably perform well in League 2.
Personally, I think Deasy is just that bit better.

Re: Deasy or Tomlinson?
It was Deasy but I'm not so sure anymore. Tomlinson seems better at 1 on 1s. Tomlinson's unorthodox punch for a straight-at-him shot (v Oxford? can't remember) had me a little concerned. At this level we have to expect an occasional clanger from any goallie but Deasy's mistakes are often of the worse kind - i.e. schoolboy standard. Tomlinson's just edging it for me.
Re: Deasy or Tomlinson?
deasy might make "schoolboy mistakes" but he also makes his fair share of "worldclass saves" such as play off final to tip it onto post. and many others you will all remember, plus he is a fans fave. deasy for me

Re: Deasy or Tomlinson?
I prefer Tomlinson, although Deasy's done nothing wrong. I just like his prescence and his shot-stopping slightly edges it for me. Both are fine, although Alan Martin was better than either.
It's one area we don't have to worry about as much IMO

Deasy for me
some might say that we haven't conceded many with Tomlinson in the sticks, the real reason we haven't conceded many recently is Pearson at the back for me.

Two good keepers but I would say Deasy.
