Book has interview with Casson.
Some of the usual lazy stereotypes eg Barrow greater travelling time than Carlisle to/from Manchester. (Barrow 12 minutes less in fact)

Yes but he doesn't make statements, apart from the fact that by not making a statement, that is a statement in itself!

Sorry but he made a statement a couple of weeks ago, which everyone ripped to pieces. He also writes a column in the programme. He has hardly disappeared.

I have been a Paul Casson supporter from day 1 BUT the deafening silence from him over the last 2/3 weeks is to me very worrying.
It's ok saying there is nothing to say except, a good leader does just that and we are getting nothing from him.
I am very concerned.

Statements are pointless, just generic guff which say absolutely nothing except everything in the garden is rosy, when anyone with a modicum of sense knows different.
Much rather have some action, words are meaningless

Wasn't aimed at you or anyone in particular Davep. The point is, do you honestly believe Casson is going to tell the supporters th full honest truth? He will always give the politicians answer. Transparency? Only in what he want's publicised.

Absolutely agree but saying something even if not entirely true is better than the current deafening silence.
