We all support our team in different ways yes - I didn't see any fans not embracing that so yes let's go away enjoy the game, behave and celebrate a good win

Believe me I am as avid a fan as any I would rather we all got on in that stand and stood together and cheered our team on. But there is a divide. An unnecessarry one at that.

Smoke and flares actually look good on a dark night in a packed stadium in Istanbul or Zagreb.
In the conference it just looks a bit daft.

It looks absolutely shite. Will be good when we play galatasaray at the San siro though.

This is all getting pretty embarrassing now.

Whether people like it or not, smoke bombs/flares, whatever you want to call them, are not allowed in football grounds - end of, which part of that is hard to understand?
When supporters (more than likely those who set the thing off yesterday) get searched more thoroughly at the next away game than they were yesterday, they'll be the first to complain of OTT stewarding/policing.

Just don't take them to football games......simple really isn't it?
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

If you want to stand out wear a fluorescent jackey.
How do you get these things to smoke? No ignition.
I would hate to call anyone thick.
But we do have a element who are shall we say challenged.
It's a football game jump up and down shout whatever but do not assume you know what's right.

So when are we playing at the San Siro?

And so back to the football.
What a turnaround after last Saturday's game where for the first time ever I almost went home during the second half.
Commitment and a desire to play passing football made for an entertaining game and I 'll tell you what, even if we hadn't won I would have been satisfied that we at least gave of our best and went for it. Played in terrible conditions with the worry the game might be abandoned made it all the more satisfying that we went on to bring the three points home.
I can't wait to see that first goal of Jordan Williams again. Sitting slightly to the side of the goal it was mesmerising to see him jinking past first one and then another player to slot the ball home. What an amazing talent this lad has and if he keeps his head down and works hard he will go on to a much higher level in the football world.A great all round team performance. We were entertained and edge of the seat nail biting stuff especially when Chester thought they had equalised near the end of the game to ---sigh of relief---be judged off side.
I just hope the fans can see a similar performance tomorrow as they have not been blessed with the best of performances at home.

Well done lads.
Oh aye and thanks Jord for winning me a fiver on the bus for predicting the time of the first Barrow goal and scorer, donated back to the bus fund so hopefully Tony's Travel Bus will have enough T-Totalers to run a bus to the Kidderminster game. :scarf:

The one minute silence following the terror attacks in Brussels was ‘disrespected’ according to the radio.

Was this by design or accident?

i.e. people not having heard the announcement and somewhat boisterous and noisy til they realise what’s going on.

Reports on here suggest only one person made noise during the silence. I find it hard to believe they could do that by accident when the whole ground is in silence.

There had been a short moment of silence when someone outside the ground shouted " Barrow " it was only then that the individual responded with his own version. All around then eventually managed to shut him up.
