McGreal has gone from 14s to 10s, Ardley 6s from 25s. There's plenty of them move. It only takes a little wager to dramatically shift odds.

In fact Mcgreal has moved even more overnight to 4s. It doesn't mean anything until the ITKs get their cash down.

I have watched Col U under McGreal quite a few times as I live locally and Robbie Cowling the chairmen there is known for promoting from within, ie bringing coaches through the ranks then appointing them as manager. He ( McGreal )was not well liked, didnโ€™t have a clue tactically and failed to get them promoted despite having teams easily good enough to do so.
He and his family also live in Suffolk and are settled, I doubt he would want to come this far north.

Think we are going to see what happens with COVID and the various strains, the season might not even start.
Looking at the list of potential managers it's a bit like going to buy a race horse and coming back with a donkey of Blackpool sands.
The best Managers we have has have all flown under the radar, Colin Appleton,Vic Halom abetted by Barry Diamonds goals,Ray Wilkie why the he'll would someone come over from the NE was my first remark, how wrong I was ,Ian Evatt kicked started by Chesterfield not giving him the job
I suggested Nigel Clough that went well!
It's finding the person with the ambition, drive and common sense ,a very unenviable task.

Already knew he's done a video interview and a follow up one. Heard we will be announcing our new manager no later than next Wednesday and Ardleys the name I was told too. Would prefer McGreal though.

That would be an excellent appointment in my view. Performed miracles getting a supporters team to L1 and almost got a financial wreck promoted from the NL at the first go.

Agreed. His experience in EFL2 and what he achieved fits the profile of what we both require and hopefully attract to be our next manager.

And if you take into account we only got promoted because of coronavirus and that Notts were nailed on to win the league I'll even say that is as good as getting another promotion on his CV.

What the hell are you talking about??.
Pedro is only pointing out that the way things are going the country could be on the verge of another lockdown which might affect the season start.

Doom and Gloom, we played a season through a lockdown, there will be no more lockdowns we now need to live with covid. Some of the our supporters are the most negative people in the world.

Some of the things ive read on here - we will go through all season and not win a game; no manager will want to manage us; you can't see the pitch from the seats; its been raining for 10 minutes the games is going to be off - [SwearFilter] me
