I know very little about MM, But the poor lad has been thrown in at the deep end with a squad Cox brought in to play giants hoofball & MM is working with the hand cox handed him

Wow!mickmike wilson wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2017 4:54 pm Sorry again Dave but i'm struggling to understand YPOV here.
1, Rightly or wrongly in many folks eyes he has placed Andrew in charge of operations.....Yet you expect him to fly over personally to what deliver a statement?? Why does he have too as he has Andrew in place to do these type of things.
2, Any Statements by Footy clubs, Are all Company line policies full of waffle & piecemeal its the same with Business, Politicians, Organisations etc
3, How the heck has Casson "Treat the fans like Dummies" We don't know what's gone on with the club & cox but the club have to deal with cox quitting on You, Me, the Club, all of us..........People today baffle me.....Holty with ZERO experience seems to be the popular choice yet MM with enough experience isnt??
Holt might want a kings ransom to come here, MM is already here on a contract etc
Plenty of fans were warming to the way the team were trying to play football & entertain you & we were unlucky at both Fylde & Tranny, Then we came up against a Cox motivated Guiseley where the only winner was the weather & last Saturdays terrible showing vs Torquay & everyone's going out of their minds, Yes it was a horrible effort by us on Saturday.....it happens from time to time, A little luck here & there & we could be in the top 10 & not having this conversation.
I know very little about MM, But the poor lad has been thrown in at the deep end with a squad Cox brought in to play giants hoofball & MM is working with the hand cox handed him, I can not recall us ever having an injury crisis like we are now suffering with an already thin squad etc.
MM wouldnt be my choice but if he gets the job I would give him enough time to enable him to really put his stamp on the team & how it plays before questioning his ability.
And on the 7th day god created football

It's fine to disagree Dave,DaveP wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2017 5:01 pm We will just have to disagree won't we.
My fear is the constant disconnect between the ownership and the fans will continue to reflect itself in falling gates and that will only end one way.
Yes his son is directing operations BUT again he has absolutely no history of running a football club, enough said.
Do you really think the whole saga this season of Cox and his departure and his successor has been handled well? I don't.
All bluebirds are blue.
Question for you or all those clamoring for Holy to be our Manager, Why is it reasonable & acceptable for Holty to take control with absolutely zero experience in the position but Andrew Casson should not be in his position due to the lack of experience?

Aye Andrew said, quote; Paul Ogden had done a great job in assembling a squad that has no major weaknesses.
Looks like we are hamstrung in more ways than we know of at the minute.
Only time will tell if we have it right on and off the pitch, but for now we have to trust those that make the decisions to get it right whether some of us like it or not.

Re: Casson
Younger posters might be intrigued to learn that there was a popular TV soap called “Dallas” in the 80s, an everyday saga of a rich Texas family a-double dealin’ and a-cheatin’ whilst running a football club, er, I mean oil fields. Spookily, one of the main characters disappeared for a year then came back as if nothing had happened! Now I’m not suggesting for one cotton-pickin’ minute that (Cont. Pg.94).
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

At least Holty has played here ,knows the fans wealth of playing at all levels of football and will have a lot of contacts!mickmike wilson wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2017 5:09 pmIt's fine to disagree Dave,DaveP wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2017 5:01 pm We will just have to disagree won't we.

Vic Halom came here with no experience and created one of the most entertaining teams I have had the privilege to watch!
Rather see Holty come and give it a go and fail at least he'd be his own man but wait a minute that won't do !

Andrew Casson didn't mention Cox while stating Ogden had done a great job getting a squad together with very few weaknesses.mickmike wilson wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2017 5:50 pmI think it was a combined effort wasn't it?glasgow_blue wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2017 5:07 pm

Come on Tyse, Are you suggesting that every signing we made was not agreed with by the Manager (Cox) ?? & we brought them in anyway??glasgow_blue wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2017 6:01 pmAndrew Casson didn't mention Cox while stating Ogden had done a great job getting a squad together with very few weaknesses.mickmike wilson wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2017 5:50 pm

I know of 1 but that was when it was obvious that Cox was leaving & we needed someone in that position urgently.
