Lowestoft are 8th from bottom, have been beaten 14 times in the league - 3 times at home - and have had 63 goals scored against them. They've nothing to play for - they'll probably be thinking more about their summer holidays than competing in a football match. Hardly a team that can be described as daunting or to be feared!

If a top table team can't become CHAMPIONS by winning their FINAL GAME against such a side (no offence to Lowestoft) then they don't DESERVE to be Champions!

Now...that is stating the bleeding obvious.

You're kind of reinforcing what I am getting at fella. Several people are getting into an unnecessary panic over this game.

While I agree they are very beatable, especially by the Title contenders & we really should win...........We still have to be 100% focused, We thought we'd turn Gloucester over & didn't, Emdo needs to talk up their good home record & them wanting it badly for their retiring gaffer, we (Yes im stating the obvious) need to batter (fish reference, them from the off, especially for my nerves

Both sides have got difficult games for different reasons, we have a tough game against a really in form side in Gloucester whereas Lowestoft's manager is stepping down after 20 years and they'll want to give him a really good send off. Whoever wins the title deserves to be champions.

Lowestoft are on a twelve-match unbeaten run, granted two of those were in the Suffolk Premier Cup, but of the other ten League games, they have won three, and drawn seven, and the latter wouldn't be any good to us on Saturday, unless Fylde draw as well, or lose.

Minor point of pedantry: a draw is no use to us in any circumstances - if Fylde draw/lose we are champions regardless.

..... that's not a minor point of pedantry but quite an important point about the unimportance of the point for a draw

Edmo's team talk should be short and straight to the point.

'Would you rather a) Win the game finish as champions and spend the rest of the week-end (and beyond) nursing the mother of all hangovers or b) fail to win and look forward to three tough and incredibly pressurised games to achieve the same result. No brainer really.

There's also pride for the Lowestoft players... I think most teams down the table would relish the opportunity to be the title deciding team.

While I suspect Lowestoft aren't going to be going all out and putting their bodies on the line before their holidays, I'm wary of underestimating them.

Whether for their manager, the hopes of scout visiting, the chance to drop one of the title challengers or the fact they'll be out to enjoy the last day of football, they're not going to just roll over and hand us the title.

Indeed not. We should be rolling Lowestoft over and taking the title.

It's NOT about Lowestoft anyway - it's all about US! Keep the Faith...
