Though we are 4 games unbeaten I can't help but feel slightly worried. How at this stage of the season can we only have 15 players (including a GK on the bench)? I have read that Coxy wants a squad of 22 and we have 21 signed, but in that we have an extra goalkeeper, Andy Parry who doesn't seem to be close to playing, plus Makoma and Cockerline who both seemed to be signed as young development players. That leaves only 17 first team players, including injured Harrison and Fitzpatrick, leaving the 15.
If you got your facts right people might take some notice of your post.
Cockerline has played in 3 of the 5 games so far and has looked ok when he has played but lets ignore that shall we?
In one of the games we never had a full quota of outfield players as subs but the rest of the time we've been ok and the subs that have come on have been of an equal standard to those who they were replacing and we have players still to return from injury/suspension. If we're short of players I'm sure Paul Cox will be able to loan someone.
A review after 5 games is pointless IMO especially when you don't even bother to read the reports of who's and how they played and it's so early in the season.
What facts have I not got right? I didn't say that Cockerline has not 'looked OK', I have read that he has done well. But he was signed as a development player from a few divisions below, missed last season due to injury and would be best suited out on loan. The fact that we have had no choice at this stage but to play him is worrying.

At this stage of the season to not be able to fill a bench is also worrying. It was well noted that last season we failed due to lack of squad depth, have the club not learned that to be successful at this level a bigger squad is needed? Or have they learned and the finances are just not there to have the bigger squad required.

Thurgott22 you can go and sit on the negative bench with a former member of this forum and Pedro Pete. With all the whingers on this forum you will soon have a full bench!

So, getting back to the title of the thread..........not a bad start, should have beaten Solihull convincingly and had the better chances against Dover so could have been a lot better. I think there's a decent team there!

Maybe if the club had engaged with the Trust we wouldn't have to suffer the new arbitrary bullshit rules in the Crossbar on match days?
What rules? Do tell.
Unnecessary barriers between supporter and pint overzealously enforced in a vanity power trip.

Also refusing to serve people at 2.42pm saying that it's been a rule for years.
