If that's true, that's appalling! No wonder he left
Perhaps he fancied the traditional English diet offered by pseudo aesthetic surroundings around the Guiseley area.

How can a player be judged to be a mistake before he's had a chance to play? A manager is employed to manage, and not have others brought in behind his back to give advice to the owner. The buck stops with the owner of course but why employ a manager if you don't allow him to manage?
Well said!

Once a Manager (in any form of business) has his authority demeaned (and it certainly looks that way) you can hardly expect him to hang around long. Can you Imagine how Alex Ferguson or Bill Shankley would have reacted?
You are assuming the club didn't want this outcome. Did Cox quit because he was undermined ? Did the club block transfers to and from an agency ran by a mate ? Who tipped off Carlisle about the release Clause for Bennett? Did the club decide weeks ago it was time for him to go ? who knows ??

I doubt many know what really has gone on

As for where we go from here we carry on like we always have and always will.

Yep we can only assume as Cassons Vision statement to be transparent in our dealings does not ring true.
Mis information about why Cox left seems to be spilling out and its coming from one area .
Maybe Carlisle asked about Bennett and it was a chance to get some more cash back
Bit like Iraq and WMD discredit the opposition to justify what you have done.
The truth will come out eventually.
I had heard that we have hired a media spokeman from Kim Jon Un and silos have been seen in Holker street = well thats what the girl in the Co-op said. :)
