For all things Barrow AFC. Keep discussions civil and fair, we're all Barrow aren't we!

Harrogate might have caught us is one argument the naysayers sometimes come up with. Equally, we might have romped to a ten+ point margin at the top by the end of the terminated season.
Exactly it’s a moot point with no argument that can be backed up. We were promoted as Champions, based upon PPG formula and the table standing at the time the season was curtailed.

It has no more basis than saying Wrexham would have been relegated if the season had continued.

Think there'll always be a Barrow relevance with Evatt because of what he did with an unfancied Barrow. He will always recognise that we gave him his first real chance in Management and he gave us a great team.

So long as he doesn’t end up you know where

That was my thought entirely. If he does go to our rivals,he is going to a club with plenty of money to spend and he can also work miracles with very little money. You only have to look at what he managed to do with our team.I hate to say it but he would be a good fit for Carlisle.

I can’t see any way Evatt would have come back here; he’d be wanting a job with a bigger club nowadays

Plus on the TV tonight Bolton fans moaning about the boring football their team is playing now.
Where have I recently heard that before?

Pete Wild would always have moved on like he did from Halifax, and the back end of last season was dreadful. I'd rather have Ben Whitfield of those two seasons back.
Even if he does nothing else all season I'm glad we got him back....
