Its clear to see that weve struggled to get players to sign. Even loan players.
Weve even tried to throw money at it and weve just been laughed at.

FairPlay too Eastleigh they are getting results , and anytime I've seen them they have played well , but Eastleigh's personnel is not a cut above Barrows in terms of individual players , plenty of games we have been on par and even on top of teams being 1-0 up , just not been able too get the 2 and kill teams off for 2-3 games in row. The players can do as a team, v good teams at this level , but we are good one week , under par a week later! Just consistency . Barrow will get 3 wins on the bounce this season and a bit of a unbeaten run going!

As a club we obviously need to develop if we are to become a top 5 non league team.
Players :
Cox has already mentioned about getting players here, the board need to meet with him and iron out a solution to this ie do we stay as we are to move to Barrow (over a few years ).if we want the best.we have to sort this out.
the ground this cannot keep being fobbed off,it has to be central to the future of the club to make the club develop income make it a place where the fans can be proud of and have more uses outside of football.
If the decision is to move here (my personal opinion is this is a no brainer ) the training facilities will have to be included.
All this will cost money but if we don't do anything we will end up throwing money away season after season and achieving nothing.
I know nothing is guaranteed in football but we need to get the club moving forward (in a lot of areas ).
I'm not being ungrateful for what Paul casson has done regarding getting us promoted but if we want to be successful we have to get everything in place.
These are only my views but what do other's think, I'm not trying to be clever I just want us to get back into the league but to thrive as a successful and sustainable club

Theres a reason the 3 teams that you think are on par with us are chasing te play offs.
Better players, better locations and better style of football.
Which 3 games are we going to win on he bounce?
We struggle to win by more than 2 goals and havnt won 2 on the bounce in the league all year!

If location is a problem then how do Grimsby recruit?

Simply because players go there knowing there is a very good chance the next season if they perform they will be a football league player. I doubt if any player in our side thinks or thought this when signing for us. The training being in lancaster only adds to what must be quite a circus like reputation we already have. It's pretty clear to see we have alot more things to rectify(administration) and get right (the ground, and training arrangements) than perhaps fleetwood or crawley had to when they did what we are trying to do. Its going to take time we just need to be patient. And when It seems like things aren't quite progressing as quickly as they should be just think back to 10 years before Casson saved us (because he did) when the football was of a lot lower standard and there wasn't any future plan, there wasn't a sniff of a ground improvement and we were still in the unibond league or whatever its endorsed equivelant is. This is going to take time. We have finally got the right kind of manager in charge. Its now time for the squad. I believe we will have succes as we see it but its going to take hardwork from all of us to get there.

I could be wrong but I'm guessing it could be Carlisle midfielder Gary [SwearFilter] who Cox is trying to sign. Possible move to Kilmarnock is on the cards.

Hope he's relocating. It'd be a hell of a commute otherwise.

Think he joined Inverness permanently - not on trial.

Would be perfectly feasible considering he played in the behind-closed-doors friendly with Carlisle the other week. However I thought Cox said he had experience of getting out of this League and I can't see where this fits with his career. Incidentally I thought it hilarious and symptomatic of the 'window' paranoia that RC commentators were trying to find out who the mystery player was warming up before the kick off at Woking --- and it turned out to be Elliot Newby !

That would explain why mystery man had "Newby" on the back of his shirt.
Doh!!
