Kind of goes back to this question from the Trust Q and A..

Do you think that’s because of geography that we have to pay over the average?

P.C: No I don’t. That’s why we’re a little disappointed, to tell you the truth. This league not for the faint hearted.

It seems when Casson expects something it's never really the case...

For example, being in the 'playoff question'.
Popular side since '03.

Lincoln site saying they've turned down a five figure offer for Matt Rhead from us.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

Offering big sums like that is scary.

Last time I remember us paying for players we signed Kevin Rapley for about £30.

http://www.redimps.co.uk/news/article/r ... 09775.aspx to be honest i would have thought we would of gone for someone with a bit more pace couldn`t see him and cook complimenting each other.

I don`t think we expected to get him because they are still in with a shout of the playoff`s,so why would they even consider it?,that`s unless we offer something ridiculously high!
