Re: Expansion
Will be interesting to see if all H&S and paperwork is sorted for July 15th v PNE because tickets are been sold for the home new stand.
Re: Expansion
Blimey. Don’t think just wandering into the ground is ok to take pics even if the doors are open. Would you be happy if people wandered into your property taking photos?GTBLUE wrote: ↑Tue Jul 04, 2023 8:44 pmThe point I have made several times Ian, is, " The fans were not told" So therefore I have done nothing wrong.spirit of 1990 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 04, 2023 8:32 pm
Not that any of this concerns me Graham but yes we were asked not to post any pictures,
I think it’s all a bit complicated but just the fact they mentioned it means they must’ve had a good reason otherwise they’d be banging pictures of it themselves all over the place.
Now keep hold of that ST![]()
So why has someone from the GMV taken it upon himself to do so. 50 plus years a fan, and I am told by a nobody what to do. This has upset me. I was just doing for the many fans who are interested what's happening.especially the exiles who seemed to enjoy them. You are a GMV volunteer of many years standing, who I have have the utmost respect for.
Hey I understand that anyone can take pics from outside but maybe, just maybe as others have pointed out planning permission has not quite been signed off yet! Members of the board would not come out and say this because it looks very careless preaching that in the public domain whilst letting the work carry on. Just sometimes stop and have a look at the bigger picture instead of trying to keep people happy in the short term

Your argument might hold water if it wasn't so blindingly obvious to anyone passing HS that stands are being erected.Louis29 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 04, 2023 8:55 pmBlimey. @GTBLUE , if it was a nobody then don't get upset by it because, well, they're a nobody.
Don't let the old man in.
Re: Expansion
Maybe the club should have got their application in earlier, in good time for it's approval before building started, then there probably wouldn't be an issue for a fan walking past to take a few pics.Louis29 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 04, 2023 8:55 pmBlimey. Re: Expansion
Something very strange. The bluebirds trust normally all over these things promoting the 1901 club seems very strange.
I can understand they don't want people popping in to take pictures but there is a genuine interest. So when we start friendlies they going hide these stands behind a sheet or something.
Nothing is ever easy is it

Anyone can see there's stands going up, they can't pretend otherwise. Do they think the council don't know ?

Re: Expansion
Does it really warrant the cancellation of your season ticket though? There is no beneficiary here, not you or the club.

Re: Expansion
What a club, be getting a final warning next GT Blue……
Re: Expansion
I'm sure the lack of info coming out is more to do with the grant side of things.
Some of the delay will have been the change over of councils, all departments have been slightly affected by this.
I believe a couple of surprise conditions were dropped on the club last minute, but have been resolved.
I'm sure it'll be sorted by the 1st home friendly

You can't stop anyone taking pictures from a public domain, that's law, so take them from outside.
