I may have missed something but I don’t see anything that says that McDonald and Cunningham have been appointed on a permanent basis.
Best comment yet and absolutely right.Barrow afc 2018 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 25, 2025 9:07 am Kris Wilks, Tony Shearer and Paul Hornby have never let us down.
Within their constraints they’ve always done the best they could do and more,
The BOD need a lift from us to tell them we want a EFL club in Barrow and we’ll back them to the hilt, anyone can support a team when it’s doing well cos it’s fashionable but our club and BOD need us now more than ever so let’s get HS packed out next two home games.
Give our board their Mojo back
Barrow AFC is not just for Christmas it’s for Life.
Merry Christmas all Bluebirds wherever you may be.
Well it's backs against the wall time.olbarrafancumbak wrote: ↑Thu Dec 25, 2025 9:53 amBest comment yet and absolutely right.Barrow afc 2018 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 25, 2025 9:07 am Kris Wilks, Tony Shearer and Paul Hornby have never let us down.

All the best everyone.
The players need to step up.
We've had teams that lacked ability but have given 100% with the right tactics.
We need more organisations on the field.
When we played Tranmere they dived and cheated.
Our players at the end of the game went over and shook there hands completely spineless they should have earned a red and given a couple the Glasgow kiss.
We need fighters not people who capitulate
Sums it up perfectly. Barrovians either want an EFL club or they don’t. We have no control over who gets the job, what players are signed - but what we can do is turn up, buy a ticket, buy some merchandise, put money over the bar shout and support the team.Barrow afc 2018 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 25, 2025 9:07 am Kris Wilks, Tony Shearer and Paul Hornby have never let us down.

Don’t talk nonsense, nothing is confirmedBarrowLad71 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 25, 2025 7:26 pm Club won’t announce McDonald has the job due to the back clash it will cause and they can’t afford any more attendance drops.
Well known Sam Cunningham pulled out of Barrow and has instead pumped his money into the rugby after being treated poorly by the BOD , it’s relegation sadly confirmed.
Thanks for the heads up. I won't bother tomorrow.BarrowLad71 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 25, 2025 7:26 pm Club won’t announce McDonald has the job due to the back clash it will cause and they can’t afford any more attendance drops.

Part of a recent press release by Barrow Rugby: The club would particularly like to thank Eats Group CEO Sam Cunningham for his financial support during this process. It is well documented that there is a reluctance from banks and other financial institutions to provide support to sporting teams due to the high-profile failings of some clubs, so having a local partner in Barrow Eats demonstrate so much faith in their local club has been a godsend.Blue Bayou wrote: ↑Thu Dec 25, 2025 10:45 pm
